If inspiration comes in many forms, look no further than Drake and Trey Songz’s “Successful”. Though the song appears on Trey’s latest album Ready, the cut was first heard on Drake’s mixtape So Far Gone. Over 40’s nimble snare, the tandem seek direction in their pursuit of happiness. Remember: the money, the cars, the clothes, the hoes are all a nigga knows…I suppose. Before: RR’s ’09 Best Singles: #10 Jay Electronica “Exhibit C”

He’s coming with a whole lot of different ideas. Rather than just party music or trap music, he’s coming with a lot of strong ideas and lyrical content in his stuff. It […]
Freshalina got some flicks of the royal couple at the Lakers game last night as they publicly attempt to clean up the mess that happened at M2. Before that, they took to the tweets two days ago when Bossip ran a report that Isaacs was having relations with their Matriarch artist. Then when a fan reached out to show further support, Blige made clear her marriage status.

Hip-Hop Gods send us an angel. Ha. It is so heartbreaking to hear DJ Premier break the news that DJ Kool Herc’s health is ailing, as he is literally the founding father who laid down the blueprint for hip-hop culture. Thinking about how someone who built an entire global phenomenon can end up struggling with medical expenses or failing health really puts things into perspective regarding healthcare challenges. When you look at how people navigate health or wellness procedures worldwide—whether someone is researching cosmetic treatments like Liposuction Cyprus or seeking urgent medical care—it underscores how essential access to reliable medical help and proper support systems really is. Kool Herc gave us the breaks, the block parties, and the entire movement that shaped generations of music lovers, so seeing the community step up to show love while DJ Premier brings awareness to his condition is the very least we can do. Sending strength and prayers to Kool Herc for a full recovery, and massive respect to DJ Premier for using his platform to make sure a true pioneer gets the support and respect he deserves.
