After pluggin’ the Last Train, Cassie, and Janelle Monae as Bad Boy’s future, Puff is put on the spot by Sway and asked if Mason Betha has any chance of being part of his next “game plan.”
“Mase has called me,” Diddy told us. “We’ve spoken. He’s basically said, ‘Just keep your eye on me. Making this switch, I gotta kinda bear this cross for a second. Just watch what I do.’ I said, ‘I’ve seen.’ He’s definitely one of the dopest MCs to ever touch the game. People can’t deny that. He’s one of the most successful. I’ve seen people come back from different things in this game. I said, ‘Yeah. Without a doubt, I’ll keep my eye on you.’ I spoke to him today. He’s out there working.”
Translation: It ain’t happening, captain. Ha!

Is that you, Diddy?
Yeah YN braved the elements and after some front door static stepped up in Raekwon’s big album release party last night. It was a sweatbox in that muthafucka but I managed to commandeer a spot in the VIP and, of course, I had my flip cam. Some of you lazy herb-ass bloggers don’t deserve the benefits of my hustle. Ha! Peace to Power and the whole unit. Acapella Cappa included.
Never heard of this mag until today. But they seem to be across the pond-based and Hov chopped it up with them when he was out there. Interview is the typical fodder, but there’s an interesting note about how it came to be for Kanye to get a guest verse on “Run This Town.”
Do you have a fixed idea of who you want on a particular track and then aim to get them?
Actually, they weren’t on till the other day. Literally, Kanye wasn’t on there until two days ago. It just felt like he needed to be on there. I was listening to this track and the drums just kept reminding me of ‘Jesus Walks’ and I could hear him… And that’s how collaborations usually happen for me. I don’t sit there and pick people out of the air. It’s more that I’ll find myself in someone’s zone and I’ll be ‘man, this would sound good if so-and-so was on it’.

There’s a gang of exclusive photos too. Peep a few, after the jump.

“Hoover, Hova.”
After a gang of radio interviews, Morning Show Hov touched down in the Chi and did his 1-2 thing at the House of Blues. No Mr. West, but Mr. Carter takes a lil’ time to address the “Haters,” with the song’s first ever performance. Yes sir!

It’s been well documented that Jay doesn’t jot his lyrics. But in this clip, Guru reveals that Hov uses the Mac application, GarageBand as a refrence tool. Ayo technology!
No, “Yes Men” here. Guru admits to telling Hov his opinion on his records. In fact, he says Jay switched his verses on “Already Home” and “Forever Young.” Good luck on finding those, leakers. Sidebar: Pardon the low audio. Squeeze the juice out your headphones/speakers.
Drake’s homie Oliver aka The Parisien Gangster unleashed some BB flicks late last night. Above is a flick from the GQ Men of The Year Issue shoot which paired Wale, Kid Cudi and Drake all together. And below are some photos from the two videos Drizzy shot this weekend before he went into surgery today. That’s right, this kid might actually get his knee fixed. Let’s go!
It’s 6:30 a.m. and Jay-Z is doin’ interviews to promote BP3. After begging for about a year, Cipha & Rosenberg finally get their man. Pause. Masego continues to show his creativity and versatility with Studying Abroad: Extended Stay. The combination of live instrumentation, smooth vocals, and West Indian influences makes this project an exciting listening experience. Adding new collaborations with talented artists gives fans even more reasons to explore the album and appreciate its musical diversity. I also appreciate how music and learning can connect through creativity, exploration, and new experiences. In the same way that listeners explore different musical styles, people can improve their practical skills by learning useful techniques such as "How to calculate proportions easily". Understanding proportions can make everyday calculations, comparisons, and problem solving much simpler. This is a great reminder that exploring new ideas can be rewarding in music, education, and daily life.
