Earlier this afternoon, the corner of Hollis Ave and 205th Street in Hollis, Queens was renamed: Run DMC JMJ Way. The event was organized by City Councilman Leroy Comrie and hosted by radio personality, Ed Lover. Guests included: Bill Adler, DJ Scratch, Kangol Kid (UTFO), and Rahiem (Furious 5). Before the sign unveiling, Jay’s mom Connie Mizell, spoke on her sons legacy and the origins Run-DMC. More clips on the way.

Yesterday, 50 Cent bussed a bunch of kids from his surrounding Queens neighborhood to Six Flags Great Adventures in Jackson, New Jersey. During his performance, he gripes about not being able to hold a concert at 40 Day and sends a big F.U. to the boys in blue watching from the rafters. Props: Broken Cool via Miss Info

Last night, Q-Tip held a birthday celebration for Michael Jackson at the Nokia Theater in NYC. During the bash, Tip calls up Quincy Jones allows him to speak to the crowd. After the jump, watch Kamaal cut a rug to the Jackson 5’s “ABC”.
