Earlier this afternoon, the corner of Hollis Ave and 205th Street in Hollis, Queens was renamed: Run DMC JMJ Way. The event was organized by City Councilman Leroy Comrie and hosted by radio personality, Ed Lover. Guests included: Bill Adler, DJ Scratch, Kangol Kid (UTFO), and Rahiem (Furious 5). Before the sign unveiling, Jay’s mom Connie Mizell, spoke on her sons legacy and the origins Run-DMC. More clips on the way.
Yesterday, 50 Cent bussed a bunch of kids from his surrounding Queens neighborhood to Six Flags Great Adventures in Jackson, New Jersey.
