From his XXL blog:
Hussle Is My Last Name— Produced by Ralo: This record right here
is my next single. My homie Ralo who been producing for me since day
one did this record. It got a West Coast vibe to it but with a Down
South bounce. I think y’all are gonna love this. The whole concept is
anyone who’s a hustler can relate to this. If you a hustler then Hussle
Is Your Last Name. Apply that to whoever you want that hustled their
way into money. Khaled Hussle, Lebron Hussle, etc etc…

Truthfullly: I’m still on the air with Angela Yee and she used her charming ways to get Leslie to let go of two hot new joints off his upcoming The Beat Made Me Do It mixtape. I like the first joint tentatively called “Love” the most. What’d you think?

[vodpod id=ExternalVideo.866343&w=425&h=350&fv=] In an effort to bring awareness to the public educational system, VH1 and MTV will air “Get Schooled” on September 8th. Above, is a 30 second clip of Wayne promoting the show. Back in 2005, I interviewed Weezy while he was “enrolled” at University of Houston for XXL. Wonder who’s going to be the first sign to Young Money Sports. Props: Broken Cool

Man, Joell Ortiz dropping “Battle Cry” live at Guz Sports Bar was unreal! The energy in that room was insane, totally beating any boring online hangout or digital trivia session like zoom games. From the second he hit the stage, his lyricism and raw delivery blew everyone away. If you weren't there, you seriously missed out on peak hip-hop culture. Absolute chills from start to finish!
