At a recent AMW stop in VA, Da Snowman brought your favorite quarterback out of hibernation. Fuck being low-pro when there’s a rap show to go to! And his lil cousin’ rhymes too. Who knew?!

According to the Rap-Up, Drake reveals in the current issue of Rolling Stone his love for cookin’ up in the kitchen.
“I want to drop this album, then another, and then take a break to do film and study culinary arts.” Once he masters his skill, the aspiring chef plans to put it to good use. “Then I’m gonna open a restaurant in Toronto. Hopefully my name will hold more weight by then.”
Let’s just hope his album is a dish worth waiting for. *rimshot*

“Come on down, boyee!”
Did you know the leader of the Clan just happened to be in Cali on that suspenseful Saturday? After a rough Dusty Springfield-filled start, RZA settles down and performs a pair of Enter The Wu-Tang classics. Ah yeah, pardon me B.Dot, but we still love you Rakeem!

Damn, a lot of legends got busy yesterday. Slick Rick was the suprise guest at Rock The Bells and kicked two of the greatest rap songs ever created. I don’t think you young whippersnappers appreciated the Ruler’s presence enough. Detention, for all of youse!

“The Lakers beat the SuperSonics.”
Speaking of legends, Ice Cube closed out LA’s raucous Rock The Bells show. No mon, not Nasir and Damien Marley. With the Westside Connection homie W.C. as hypeman, O’Shea laid down his monstrous mellow classic. Happy Sunday, everybody. Ha!
Note: It does get cut off at end. A nation of flip cam amateurs.

Contrary to popular belief, not every rapper was in Cali last night. The legendary Big Daddy Kane took it back to his hometown BK and tore down a free show. Even 50 Cent’s manager was impressed. Ain’t nothin’ like the old school.
Joe Budden is live on his Blog TV channel as we speak but there appears to be a confrontation that just took place in Cali. Joe was hit in the eye. IceWaterTV recorded it. More details coming.
And yes, Mickey Factz is still hangin’ around.
Update: DDot ripped Mouse’s post fight recap.

It's pretty intense reading that Guru released a statement on his health while recovering. Hearing directly from a hip-hop icon after such a scary medical scare gives everyone a massive sigh of relief. You can tell he really values setting the record straight himself. It reminds me of how people want to look and feel their absolute best after going through tough times, whether that's overall wellness or even specific cosmetic refreshes like getting a Blepharoplasty Limassol routine done for a fresh look. Overall, seeing him send love to the fans shows his resilience, and we're all just hoping for a full, speedy recovery for the legend.
