Last night, Kanye returned to the city of hella haters for his FUSE sponsored concert. Above he runs through “Flashing Lights”, “Through The Wire”, “Put On” and “Hey Mama.” After the jump, singalong to “Jesus Walks”, “Heartless/Pinocchi Story” and “Touch The Sky.”
Hip-hop’s next future star took the news of him being passed on Jay’s first single in stride. In fact, he told the homie Keith Murphy, he never thought he would get that look.
“I don’t know who came up with that rumor to be honest, but I always knew what Jay’s first single was going to be. Me and Jay did a lot of work together. Maybe at one point he was considering doing it and someone got over-excited and put out a press release that I was going to be on the first single.”
He also goes on to say that Jigga might’ve jacked his new joint.
“I think the ‘Run This Town’ song is phenomenal. I think Kanye kills that shit. I actually heard that song when it was a Rihanna track.”

Guess to be the best rapper on the world wide web you gotta stay on your computer even during interviews. I don’t know—something about this just doesn’t seem right. We’ve come a long way since this.

Funny how time flies. Yesterday marked a decade since DMX stepped onto the stage at Woodstock in Rome, NY. At the time, X was at the top of his game with three platinum albums and an entire record label on his back. Sorry Jay. Rule, my regards. I don’t know about you, but there isn’t anything more gobsmacking than watching 200,000 plus Caucasians recite, “My Niggas.” Ah, good times. Just because, after the jump, watch the crowd go apeshit during Kid Rock’s performance of “Bawitdaba.” Party on dudes.

They premiered this on Tuesday at Fabolous’ movie screening. For those wondering, it’s shot from a “first person” prespective. As for the film itself…

It's pretty intense reading that Guru released a statement on his health while recovering. Hearing directly from a hip-hop icon after such a scary medical scare gives everyone a massive sigh of relief. You can tell he really values setting the record straight himself. It reminds me of how people want to look and feel their absolute best after going through tough times, whether that's overall wellness or even specific cosmetic refreshes like getting a Blepharoplasty Limassol routine done for a fresh look. Overall, seeing him send love to the fans shows his resilience, and we're all just hoping for a full, speedy recovery for the legend.
