While promoting his upcoming Crips and Bloods documentary with the homie DJ Skee, Baron Davis reveals that your boy Jayceon Taylor is a butcher on that basketball court. No wonder he doesn”t get no burn in them NBA celebrity games. Ha!

“All them dudes that talk about retirement and shit—God bless ’em. I’m not one of them dudes. When you’re in this business as long as me, you’re gonna retire to do what? I love what I do so much, I don’t foresee retirement ever. I’m probably gonna be one of the first muthafuckas on some Quincy Jones shit. I want to be able to put out a Q’s Jook Joint when I’m 65 years old.”
I hear you Bussa-Bus. No beach chair for YN either. Ha!

“You’re lucky Kimmel only rhymes with nimble, symbol and thimble… I was nimble, stuck a symbol up his ass and a thimble… You might get it, buddy.”
Last night, Em and 200 of his laid-off autoworker pals visited Jimmy Kimmel for a sitdown. Topped off with another performance of “We Made You” after the jump.

This is pretty surreal. I hope it wasn’t Aries Spears pullin’ a gag. Ha!

During his UK media blitz, Slim Shady sat down with one of the biggest shows out there, Friday Night With Jonathan Ross. He also performs “We Made You” with Kon Artis as his hype man.
From what I’m told, this is La Flare’s first official mixtape since his release from the clinker last March. I wonder if that collabo with Spencer Pratt‘s ever going to come into fruition. Ah well, wishful thinking. Tracklist after the jump.
In my humble opinion, this is the only listenable song off this legendary group’s latest project with Nike. It’s not always about postin’ music—just because it’s new. At Rap Radar, we occasionally put up new music we personally co-sign. You might wanna try that sometime.

New York interviews Nasir’s ol’ man, Olu Dara. Father always knows best.
He also raps about you, most notably on “Poppa Was a Player.”
Oh, I heard that in the street one day. Years ago, I was walking down
the street, and I heard his voice, and I asked the guys on the stoop,
who is that? They said, that’s Nas! Looking at me like an old man, ‘you
don’t know about this shit.’ They said, ‘he’s talking about his father
Olu.’ And they kept listening. I said, ‘I’m Olu.’ And they looked at me
like, ‘get the hell out of here.’

“Is that all you monkey’s got?!”
No dancing this time, but this is still an interesting look into the making of Deeper Than Rap. After the jump, The Penguin pecks at Ricky to finalize the album’s tracklist. That Toomp sample cost some paper, huh? Let me find out.
This one still holds up as a smooth, R&B-leaning Drake cut — the vocal melody is what sticks with me most. It also got me thinking about how short music clips travel now: a single photo can become a whole dance moment. I recently tried Dime Dime Baby AI Video Generator, which turns one photo into a 15-second vertical dance video with the original music for TikTok and Reels (https://dime-dime-baby-ai.video/). Fun way to give an old favorite a new visual life.
