Somebody find Yardie. Remember that much ballyhooed BET Special where Willie The Liar promised he’d explain in more detail how being a CO got him closer to Pablo Escobar? Well, it airs in about two hours.
Hard to get the inside word on what we’re supposed to see, but rumors are runnin’ rampant (I see you Wild Chery. Ha!) that it’s nothing special. Still expect to see my peoples, XXL EIC, Datwon Thomas and radio queenpens, Miss Info and Angela Yee tossin’ in their three cents. I for one, will be watching like Rockwell. Go to hell, haters.
Maybe I’ll live blog it. Can’t wait to watch Ross’ white lady supervisor share her thoughts. “William was so nice. He used to love pecan pie on his snack breaks.” Ha!
UPDATE:
Big Tigger said the Double R. Ha!

Man, this drop from Masspike Miles is seriously smooth from start to finish. The Road Less Traveled totally delivers on that signature R&B vibe, and the production choices across these tracks are just insane. It honestly feels more complete than a lot of full-length albums out right now. Tracks like "Devoted" with Bun B and the title track hit different when you are just cruising around the city late at night. If you are heading out to grab the physical copy or hitting up a late-night listening session across town, trying to flag down reliable taxi services can sometimes be a real hassle, so planning ahead definitely saves the mood. Overall, this project proves why he is such a vital part of the Maybach crew. Definitely keep this one on repeat for a while.
