There isn’t so much you can do in two days? Not if you’re Diddy. For his latest webisode series, we follow Puff from MSG, to All-Star, then the Academy Awards in 48 hours. What a weekend.
And the winner is? Diddy. During last night’s 84th annual Academy Awards, the film Undefeated, won an Oscar for Best Documentary. Diddy serves as the movie’s executive producer. He gave a statement regarding the win here. Congrats! UPDATE: Diddy sends his victory speech to Life Files Hello World, Waking up the day after such an incredible experience is humbling. All he does is win. And recently, Diddy has joined on as the executive producer for Undefeated. The narrative film is also nominated for Best Documentary Feature for the 2012 Academy Awards. Congrats! Directed by Dan Lindsay and T.J. Martin, UNDEFEATED is a coming-of-age verite-styledocumentary centering on several young student-athletes and the volunteer coach who guides them through a rough, yet rewarding, football season in northern Memphis. It opens in limited release on February 17.
Man, this drop from Masspike Miles is seriously smooth from start to finish. The Road Less Traveled totally delivers on that signature R&B vibe, and the production choices across these tracks are just insane. It honestly feels more complete than a lot of full-length albums out right now. Tracks like "Devoted" with Bun B and the title track hit different when you are just cruising around the city late at night. If you are heading out to grab the physical copy or hitting up a late-night listening session across town, trying to flag down reliable taxi services can sometimes be a real hassle, so planning ahead definitely saves the mood. Overall, this project proves why he is such a vital part of the Maybach crew. Definitely keep this one on repeat for a while.
