Baauer Style
There’s a war going on outside and nobody is safe. Shot in the jungles of India comes the visual aid to Just Blaze and Baauer’s EDM hit. These kids are out to more than just tax.
Baauer’s “Harlem Shake” shook a few feathers, but Diddy isn’t the only one who supports it. In his chat with MTV, Just Blaze says its intention was never to disrespect the culture. Tell it to them.
Before Baauer’s
Just days after releasing their dance tune, “HIGHER“, Just Blaze and Baauer recreate the sound and explain the origins of the track at Stadium Red. EDM FTW. doandroidsdance
Just Blaze is stepping into the EDM world. And for his first endeavor, he collaborates with producer Baauer. The track utilizes vocals from Jay-Z’s classic, “U Don’t Know”. It’ll be interesting to see how this style fairs with the hip-hop consensus.
Wale, in this track, shows once again his ability to blend different genres. He doesn't limit himself to hip-hop, but enriches it with R&B nuances, creating a familiar sound. This fusion is not only an exercise in style, but serves to intensify the emotional impact of the song. And then there is his ability to rap. Wale is a master at playing with words, creating complex rhymes and modulating his voice to best express his emotions. In 'Blanco', his rap part is an explosion of words that intertwine with the melody, creating a hypnotic and relaxing effect. His ability to go from moments of pure energy to moments of deep introspection is what makes this track so engaging; it reminds me of when you would slow dance, hugging your woman.
