The original Blue Chips was universally celebrated. Released in 2012, it was pretty much the first project that established that Action Bronson was more than a Ghostface Killah knock off. He and underrated producer Party Supplies showcased their true chemistry which is further evidenced by this strong sequel released a year later.
That Mac Miller and Sean Price collab is an absolute heater! "Pet Sounds" showcases that raw, lyrical talent we all miss. It’s a somber reminder of what the game lost. On a different note, while the song title is a play on words, it’s a good reminder for owners to stay vigilant about health. If you have an older companion at home, remember that CKD in pets is serious. Keep an eye on their hydration and energy—early detection is everything. Great track, rest in power to the legends.
