Aside from the cyphers, BET kept the Hip-Hop Awards stage occupied throughout the night. One of the highlights was the emotional tribute to Chris Lighty from Missy, Q-Tip, Fat Joe and 50 Cent.

A picture is worth a thousand words, but little can be said about Fat Joe’s new single featuring Rick Ross and Juicy J. Sorry Crack, but there aren’t enough filters to clean this up.

Fat Joe called into Philly’s Hot 107.9 to speak on his reconciliation with 50 Cent at the Hip-Hop Awards. He spoke on their Chris Lighty tribute as well as their handshake and conversation.

In the memory of Chris Lighty, Fat Joe pays his respects with an opening verse to Slaughterhouse’s emotional record which also includes a new verse from Joell Ortiz in tribute Hot 97 executive Chris Nadler, who also passed away recently. R.I.P. Chris Lighty. flex
