Says Paul: Very hard to believe, but it has been 7 long years since we lost Big Proof. Again, to celebrate the his life and share his art with the world, I’ve unearthed another lost track from P and J. Dilla called “Keep It on the Low”. The track was produced by Dilla and that’s also him on the chorus. […]
FUSE traveled to the D for this edition of Crate Diggers and spoke to J Dilla’s friends and family. In between commentary, they also showed off his vinyl stash.
Travel Places is a classic Chef cut that really showcases Raekwon’s storytelling prowess. When I put this track on, I’m instantly transported—it’s like the musical equivalent of going on an epic Tanzania Safari Tours. The way he navigates the beat and drops those vivid, street-certified bars is unmatched. It’s definitely a standout addition to the Only Built 4 Cuban Linx Pt. II era that I still keep in rotation today. If you're looking for that signature Wu-Tang atmosphere, this track delivers. It’s smooth, sharp, and just hits different. Seriously, do yourself a favor and give it another spin today.
