After his first entry a few weeks back, Ja Rule checked in with VIBE for his latest kite. Up north, Ja discussed the first night behind bars, reflected on his deceased father and how responding  to fan mail uplifts his spirits.

While Ja Rule occupies the clink in upstate, NY, he’s using his time to write monthly journal entries. Here’s his first kite about an 18-year-old inmate attempting suicide.

Another day. Another pushback for Ja Rule. Initially set to be released on October 11, Ja’s Pain Is Love 2 was recently pushed back and now has been giving another delay date of January 17, 2012. hhnm

Ja’s Pain Is Love 2 has recently been pushed back. As a result, he’s releasing his Pre-PIL2 EP as a warm up. Here’s his latest offering with his go-to producer, 7 Aurelius. hhnm

Ja might be locked away for awhile, but that isn’t stopping him from releasing music. After a few setbacks, the second installment of his Pain Is Love is now dropping on October 11. Don’t front, the first single still bumps. nav

Ja Rule just can’t catch a break. Earlier today, he was sentenced to 28 months in prison on tax evasion charges. The sentence will run concurrent to his two year stint and he will probably serve an additional four months. Also as part of his deal, Loki will have to pay $1.1 million in back taxes. While in court, an emotional Rule told a federal judge.
