Jay-Z Letterman Concert Canceled

Jay-Z has been approved by Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s office to perform on the David Letterman marquee. The concert will take place on July 8th. Three years ago, he and Eminem were scheduled to perform on the awning, but capitulated to the roof. Thanks Drake. Magna Carta Holy Grail downloads on July 4th. UPDATE: Damn Bloomberg. According to the New York Post, the event has been cancelled.

In less than 24 hours, Jay-Z will release his 12th solo album, Magna Carta Holy Grail. Today though, L+T unveiled the cover along side the original Magna Carta documents in the UK. Visitors can see the display at the Salisbury Cathedral Chapter House all month long.

Jay-Z Forces RIAA To Change Policy

Old rules were made to be broken. In light of Samsung purchasing a million digital copies of Jay-Z’s Magna Carta Holy Grail, the RIAA has decided to change their certification policy.
