Grand closing? According to  Yahoo Sports, Jay-Z has begun the process of divesting his ownership of the Brooklyn Nets. Last week, Hov launched Roc Nation Sports and signed New York Yankee Robinson Cano. In order for him to represent NBA players, he would have to sever ties with the team.

While Hov was smoking Cubanos in cabanas with Beyoncé last week in Cuba, politicians back in the States were bothered over the visit. Florida Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen spoke with CNN on her issue with the trip and said the couple should’ve been mindful of the country’s communist regime.

Jay-Z and Roc Nation have inked a multi-year partnership with Universal Music Group. The label will now house recordings from Jay and his roster, including Rihanna.
