Joey normally doesn’t do this, but after a request from Sway, Joey made an exception and kicked a new verse during his RapFix Live session this afternoon.
Joe Budden swung by Hot 97 during today’s rush hour drive. He spoke with Angie Martinez on reality TV, relationships and, of course, to premiere his new single. Part 1: Confirms appearance in next Love & Hip-Hop season. Speaks on ex Tahiry and his current girl Kaylin Garcia. Part 2: Discusses his interviews on the red carpet of the BET Hip-Hop Awards. Part 3: Instagram, more Tahiry and his upcoming album, No Love Lost.
Joe Budden’s been sitting on this record since the summer. Splash got the drop on it, and it now features Tank in addition to Lil Wayne. Sonically, the track is reminiscent of Drake’s “I’m On One”. Considering the impact that had on radio, could this be Joey’s attempt of returning to the FM dial? Quite possibly. Look out for A Loose Quarter coming soon.
You know what they say, the best sex is make up sex. So behind closed doors, Emanny and Joey makes amends with their significant others the right way. Off Emmany’s mixtape, Songs About Her.
Joe Budden TV continues with Joey in the studio working on the opening track to his upcoming mixtape, A Loose Quarter.
Emptying his pocket, Joe Budden pulls out the cover art of his next mixtape, A Loose Quarter. No release date set yet, but expect for it to drop soon.
Not really a video, but one of his previous released tracks is used during a random night of bowling with girlfriend, Kaylin Garcia. Honestly, we would have preferred a slideshow of her Instagram pics.
Joe took a break from Instagram last night and held court at S.O.B’s to perform with a live band. For those that weren’t present, EMETakeover provides the highlights they captured on film. UPDATE: Joe breaks down during “Truth Or Truth”
Wale, in this track, shows once again his ability to blend different genres. He doesn't limit himself to hip-hop, but enriches it with R&B nuances, creating a familiar sound. This fusion is not only an exercise in style, but serves to intensify the emotional impact of the song. And then there is his ability to rap. Wale is a master at playing with words, creating complex rhymes and modulating his voice to best express his emotions. In 'Blanco', his rap part is an explosion of words that intertwine with the melody, creating a hypnotic and relaxing effect. His ability to go from moments of pure energy to moments of deep introspection is what makes this track so engaging; it reminds me of when you would slow dance, hugging your woman.
