In celebration of the release of Pink Friday, Nicki Minaj had a big Hot 97 sponsored show in NY last night. Along with opening act Fab, Nick got her summer jam on bringing a gang of guests out. None bigger than Mr. West. I guess the “fashion icon” has a new look. Ha!

YAF strikes again and comes through with new material from Kanye West and Jay-Z. It’s co-produced by Q-Tip with La Roux on the hook. Presumably, it’s off their upcoming album, Watch The Throne. So far, this Friday is turning out G.O.O.D. for Kanye West. Yesterday, a Miami judge threw out the lawsuit, Suge filed against him in May due to lack of evidence. Suge was seeking over $1 million in damages after he claimed the rapper, who hosted a party at the Shore Club in Miami, was responsible for lack of security when he was shot.

Joell Ortiz stopped by Shade 45 studios today on The Morning After with Angela Yee. He reacted to Kanye West’s co-sign last night on Funkmaster Flex‘s show and denies criticizing Joe Budden.

Kanye’s fifth album still doesn’t have a title, but it does have a new release date. A couple weeks ago, he told Angie Martinez that the album would drop on November 16th. But now, Rap-Up says the project will be in stores on November 22nd. So far, confirmed guests include Nicki Minaj, Justin Vernon, and T.I. UPDATE: No date set. What the…? Back in 2005, Suge Knight was shot in the leg at an event hosted by Kanye West at the Shore Club in Miami. Now five years later, the former Death Row boss has filed a lawsuit for $1 million claiming that the club and Ye failed to provide adequate security. The trail date is set for Dec. 6th in Miami.
