Nice photo, Dark Nyte. Earlier today, Kendrick Lamar and Jay Rock appeared on Sway In The Morning on Shade 45. With Devi Dev in the house, they left the mics smoking with a pair of freestyles over J.Cole’s “Work Out”.
K-Dot, Jay Rock, Ab-Soul, and Schoolboy Q all stopped by Tony Touch’s Toca Tuesdays show last night and Al was present to catch the fantastic four doing their one-two thing. Video coming next week. UPDATE: Now with footage. [vodpod id=Video.13889128&w=540&h=350&fv=%26rel%3D0%26border%3D0%26]
During Pharrell and Kendrick’s studio session with Buddy, P commends K-Dot’s music and names some of his favorite cuts off the rapper’s latest project, Section.80.
Pharrell sure loves a photo op. From the looks of it, K-Dot is getting down to the Neptune sound and was spotted in the lab with Skateboard P. Hopefully whatever they worked on, surfaces soon. Kendrick’s Section.80 is out now. kingz
During J.Cole’s interview with Hard Knock TV, he says the joint mixtape with K-Dot is about 4 or 5 tracks in and has recently been heading towards the direction of an album. “I’m not settling for a mixtape because I feel we’re too talented for that and the music we’ve made so far is too good. I want to build. Even if it takes 9-10 months whatever, I feel like the final outcome of that project is something that hip hop needs.”
To support the new That’s Rocawear campaign, K-Dot takes charge of the mic and does his one-two thing over Hov’s “What We Talkin’ Bout”. Section.80 is the talk around town, so get it now.
Maybe it’s Maybelline. No it’s actually another cut from K-Dot which features the soothing sounds of Colin Munroe. Off Kendrick’s Section.80 on iTunes now. complex
K-Dot continues to impress, and tonight here is one more track from his upcoming project, Section 80. Look for the final drop in full on July 2nd. hhnm UPDATE: Official video after the cut
[vodpod id=Video.11955561&w=540&h=350&fv=%26rel%3D0%26border%3D0%26] We’re only 3 days away until we finally get Kendrick Lamar’s new project, Section 80 and here’s a quick public service announcement from Snoop and David Banner to show their support.
It’s honestly a massive bummer that The Fugees had to cancel "The Score" reunion tour. I was so hyped to see Lauryn, Wyclef, and Pras back on stage together after all those years. Their music defined an era, and missing out on that anniversary celebration still stings. I’m currently planning a much-needed getaway to distract myself from the news. I’ve been looking into scooter hire algarve to explore the coast properly once I’m there. Hopefully, the group manages to reschedule in the future. Until then, I’ll be blasting The Score on repeat and enjoying some sunshine abroad.
