MGK visited BET this afternoon to plug his new release, Lace Up. He also talked his BET Hip-Hop Awards performance, touring and working with the features on his album.
Aside from the cyphers, BET kept the Hip-Hop Awards stage occupied throughout the night. One of the highlights was the emotional tribute to Chris Lighty from Missy, Q-Tip, Fat Joe and 50 Cent.

Here’s some wild news. Recently, MGK’s single “Wild Boy” reached over 500,000 in sales. During last weekend’s Hip-Hop Awards, Puff honored his artist with his first gold plaque.
MGK hosted a listening session yesterday at NYC’s Slate for his upcoming album, Lace Up. Those present got a live performance of a few tracks and plenty of Ciroc. Page 31 sums up the night above.
