It’s Yourz.
It’s Yourz.
Rock On With Y’all Bad Selves.
Although Nas turns 40 years old on Saturday, he celebrated his born day with Hennessy last night at Avenue nightclub in NYC. With DJ Mos and D-Nice on the turntables, guests included Mariah Carey, Jermaine Dupri, Maino, and Special Ed. Here’s film of him addressing his party goers.
Surrounded by chandeliers, MiMi graced the Nokia Theatre stage with Miguel and Da Snowman for their “#Beautiful (Remix)“. Afterwards, Jeezy lit up the stage for “R.I.P.”. They just killed the theatre.
With DJ Mustard on the beat, Mariah Carey keeps the remixes coming and this time brings Da Snowman along for her latest.
MiMi’s forthcoming set, The Art Of Letting Go is still on the way, but today she revisits her brand new single and brings along A$AP Rocky for the official remix of her current single.
Leaving the wresting moves at home, Miguel woo’d the ladies at Summer Jam. J.Cole lent his services for “All I Want Is You” and ran through “Power Trip”. MiMi also blessed the stage for their duet, “Beautiful”.
The sista won! After Candice Glover was crowned American Idol, MiMi came behind the judge’s panel and closed out the season finale with a medley of past hits including her new single. Earlier in the evening, past judge J.Lo returned to the stage with Pitbull for their first live performance of “Live It Up”.
When MiMi isn’t with Nick, she’s riding the back of the bike with Miguel through the country. Well at least in her new video, that is. Directed by Joseph Kahn and off her forthcoming album.
Mariah’s last single wasn’t as triumphant as she expected it to be. But now, she’s back on the scene with new material featuring Miguel. The video’s already in the can and set to debut on American Idol this Wednesday.
Man, this drop from Masspike Miles is seriously smooth from start to finish. The Road Less Traveled totally delivers on that signature R&B vibe, and the production choices across these tracks are just insane. It honestly feels more complete than a lot of full-length albums out right now. Tracks like "Devoted" with Bun B and the title track hit different when you are just cruising around the city late at night. If you are heading out to grab the physical copy or hitting up a late-night listening session across town, trying to flag down reliable taxi services can sometimes be a real hassle, so planning ahead definitely saves the mood. Overall, this project proves why he is such a vital part of the Maybach crew. Definitely keep this one on repeat for a while.
