Yours truly bailed at the last minute, but Hov, Beyonce, Busta Rhymes, Jermaine Dupri, Swizz Beatz, No I.D. and a host of others were in attendance. Q-Tip and DJ Wonder handled DJ duties. Sticking his chest out with pride, Nasir Jones repped for the fathers across the globe by performing “Daughters” last night on the Late Show With David Letterman. Life Is Good is out today. 3030

With DJ Green Lantern on the 1s and 2s, Nasir provided the soundtrack for this evening’s ESPY Awards performing “Nasty”, “The Don” and “Summer On Smash” with Swizzy. Life Is Good next Tuesday. yardie

You might not know Def Jam’s R&B artist, K’La yet but today we get to hear her new single which features a new verse from Nasir. This ain’t bad at all.

During his Paris show last Tuesday, Nas spoke on his musical influence then segued into Life Is Good‘s third track with a Marvin Gaye sample flipped by DJ Green Lantern and the Z band. Nice mix.

The consistency continues as Nasir airs out his past marriage’s highs and lows for the album’s closing track. Produced by Salaam Remi and Noah “40” Shebib. Life’s so much better now, but Life Is Good on July 17. Pitchfork

Trapped in the 90s? Well luckily for you, Nas reunites with Large Professor on this record off his forthcoming set, Life Is Good. Sounds like Esco is on the right track.

On the cover of Nas’s upcoming album Life Is Good, he uses his ex-wife Kelis’ wedding dress as the focal point. While at the Isle Of Wight Festival, Kelis tells NME, that she respects Esco’s creative license. sc
