Paul turned the big 4-0 last night and celebrated his born day with a private party in Queens. Some of the guests included NY Yankees pitcher CC Sabathia, Just Blaze, The Alchemist, Royce Da’ 5’9″, and Joell Ortiz. It is interesting to look back at this discussion because the concerns about technology becoming a barrier to real communication have only become more noticeable over time. Messages are quick and convenient, yet they often cannot communicate tone, emotion, or intention as clearly as a real conversation. Technology itself is not necessarily the problem, but how we choose to use it matters. Even something as simple as a Basic Calculator shows how useful technology can be when it solves a practical problem without replacing meaningful human connections and conversations.
