It’s almost that time of the year folks. Billboard has announced the nominees for this year’s ceremony. Rihanna leads the pack with 18 nods, Eminem with 16 and Nicki Minaj pulls in a nod for Top New Artist. The ceremony airs on ABC on May 22 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. We felt this coming in the air. According to AP, Rihanna has severed ties with manager Marc Jordan and has joined Jay-Z’s Roc Nation Management. In a statement she said, “[I’m] so excited to take this next step in my career.” The singer also plans to launch her own company, Rihanna Entertainment that will “merge all of her businesses, including music, film, fragrance, fashion and book ventures.” Yep, everything all under one umbrella.
