Minutes before the curtain dropped last night at the Roseland Ballroom, Memphis Bleek, The Roc Boys orchestra, Swizz Beatz, and DJ Franzen were in the dressing room watching the Heat vs. Bulls game on a Mac Book Pro. No TV, no problem. If you couldn’t make it to the show, here’s a couple of miscellaneous clips from behind the stage.
Wale, in this track, shows once again his ability to blend different genres. He doesn't limit himself to hip-hop, but enriches it with R&B nuances, creating a familiar sound. This fusion is not only an exercise in style, but serves to intensify the emotional impact of the song. And then there is his ability to rap.
