Eazy-E wasn’t the only hologram at Rock The Bells in L.A. this weekend. On day 2, the late O’l Dirty Bastard was resurrected by the Wu, who even brought out his son, Young Dirty. Like father, like son.
Eazy-E was resurrected on his 50th birthday last night at Rock The Bells in Los Angeles. Accompanied by protégés Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, he recited his verses from “Straight Outta Compton”, “Boyz-N-The-Hood” and “For Tha Love Of $”.
It’s that time of the year folks and the Rock The Bells festival will be celebrating their 10 year anniversary with the likes of Wu-Tang, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, a virtual ODB and Eazy-E and tons more. This year, the two-day festival will hit up San Bernadino, CA (Sept. 7-8), Mountain View, CA (Sept. 14-15), Washington D.C. (Sept. 28-29), and Rutherford, NJ (Oct. 4-5).
This shit’s special. During the final Rock The Bells stop at the PNC Bank Arts Center in New Jersey this weekend, Nas brought out Scarface for their first live performance of DJ Khaled’s “Hip Hop”. They fucked Hip Hop.
