Bey’s outside!
The-Dream returned to S.O.B.’s last night under his government, Terius Nash. Before another sold out crowd, he performed a mix of his familiar hits and material from his 1977 mixtape. Skreech and Dark Nyte were both in the house and come through with the recap. Nice Ewing Jersey, Mr. Nash. Check out Stark’s photos below.
While in the UK, Terius visited Tim’s 1Xtra show. He opened up on his break up with Christina Milian, fatherhood, generating $15 million on Ri Ri’s “Umbrella” and writing Justin Bieber’s “Baby”.
You thought Mr. Cannon was done with the remixes? Well, he’s back at it and this time he jumps on Terius’ track from his latest project, 1977.
The artist formerly known as The-Dream and Sean go to the barrios of Bankhead for their collaboration track. This can be found on Terius’ latest release, 1977. Ghetto fab.
Next Wednesday, Terius will be holding a secret show in NYC. Where? Well, we can’t tell you yet, but we will be giving away 50 tickets. Stay tuned. #1977
Filmed by Aristotle, The-Dream goes black and white in the first visual off his terrific 1977. Hey that kinda looks like you know who. Breaking up is hard to do, son.
If you don’t know: The-Dream dropped an album for free and it’s pretty fuckin’ incredible. Get Barry Weiss on the phone! Ha!
It’s the gift that keeps on giving. Days after The-Dream released 1977, under his government name Terius Nash, he revealed on Twitter that he’s ready to drop another free album this Fall. Barry Weiss ain’t gon’ like this. hhnm
The-Dream’s last album was released over a year ago. But instead of prolonging any longer he drops off his free LP, 1977 Make like 2011, and peep the tracklist and download link after the cut.
This was an interesting read, especially since it shows how music and pop culture can blend in unexpected ways. T-Pain’s use of Auto-Tune really changed the sound of modern music, and it’s cool to see how artists and even public figures get referenced in creative ways like this. It highlights how certain trends spread and influence different parts of culture over time. It also made me think about how creativity shows up in everyday things beyond music. Even in something like car ownership, small personal touches can reflect style and personality. For example, using honda acty seat covers is a simple way to add comfort while also protecting the interior, which is a practical upgrade that still ties into personal taste and care. Overall, it’s interesting to see how different topics connect, whether it’s music, culture, or even cars.
