Eminem Admits Guest Verse From T.I. Song Was “Horrible”

Reading this New York Times article on Em and ran across this random revelation:
In the five years between his own albums, he worked as a producer, making beats for other rappers, and occasionally showed up as a guest rapper; he now calls his verse on “Touch Down,” with the Atlanta rapper T.I., “horrible.”

Plus: Dre admits Slim is a stubborn mule when it comes to changing his words.
“Once he makes a painting, once he lays a lyric down, it’s impossible to get him to change it,” Dr. Dre said. “If there’s a couple of lines he says on a record that’s not relevant today, it’s, ‘No, that was that painting. That was for that moment.’ “
Gotta respect Em for keeping it real.
When I heard his verse on there I thought it was the worst Eminem verse I’d ever heard. He uses that faux-Southern accent and raps about candy paint. And it sounds so lazy. Obviously this was during the period when he was near bottom.
Glad that his new ish is back to what I expect from him.
funny to me because i love that song. TI actually murdered the beat and spoke on intelligent, positive, and insightful stuff.
em was ok, not horrible in comparison to the majority of commercial rappers. considering he guagesit, and many of us, to be a very sub-par verse, that’s funny. his worst is still lyrically better than any given rick ross verse of pretend D-boy fantasies or one of these 2-step club song guys who never have another hit. that said, very honest of him to admit what we were all thinking; u can come better and glad u now are.
I love that song. When the whole album leaked I only downloaded that song, and it made me wanna go out and buy the album even more. lol.

Hes got shitty lyrics, shitty production quality, and whoever mastered his shit needs to be shot in the head. Its That bad.
