A couple days before his speech at the Nokia Theater, Ghost delivered a similar soliloquy at Toad’s Place in Connecticut. This time around, he digs a little deeper on how (Insert your local Hip-Hop radio station here) brainwashes listeners into liking crappy records.

Man, miss me with the fake Jay and B quotes already. Headlines. Some of you sites will do anything for attention and traffic. You really believed B would speak to Star magazine? Tuck your tabloid in. And why would Hov need to write a letter to his daughter? Bitch please. He wrote a song! It's called "Glory" and it's pretty fuckin' revealing. He went on the record (double entendre) but you still don't get it. You may hear baby Blue's first cries but no you don't know her height, weight or what she looks like. And no you ain't gettin' a flick, fool. Can new parents get some privacy? Even if they are celebrities. Sheesh! Who raised you animals? Party at the 40/40. Paps outside. Rushin' the velvet rope. Don't trip over your integrity.
Put us here if you like. The RR store stays open 24/7. SOPA? Yeah we Showcase Our Product Always. And we're gonna continue straight ahead til somebody up there turns out the lights. Start from scratch? I'm not afraid.
This is true tho, because in DC you dont hear too many local artists on the radio but a lot of them are starting to get shine and were held back by the bullshit artists that they play from outta town all the time. But we got talented artist and we coming. These are the six MC’s with deals in the DC Metro area. Stamp they some of the most original and toughest lyrically out here and the city gon ride for em

The DMV Dream Team
On February 8, 1996, President Clinton signed into law the Telecommunications Act of 1996. Section 202 of the Act eliminated limits the FCC had previously placed on the number of radio stations on ownership of radio stations in a local market. Between ’96 and ’03, the number local radio owners declined by 35%. By ’03, Clear Channel Communications owned 1,200 radio stations.
Obama needs to fix the FCC.
