Royce Da 5′9 & Crooked I Speak On “Forever” Cameos
Thursday, September 24 2009 1:32 PM EST | Posted by: B.Dot | Posted in: Blog, Newsstand StanThe video for “Forever” didn’t live up to the Hype (pun intended), but Royce and Crook spoke to VIBE about their cameo appearances and addressed those pesky rumors.
“There’s gonna be rumors when somebody see something like that but it just is what it is. We just all family,” says Royce. “As everybody knows, Em is a good friend of mine. We’ve been good friends for years. I just had my Slaughterhouse brothers in town and [Eminem's manager] Paul [Rosenberg] asked me to come down and be in the video and they just happened to be in town with me so I just brought ‘em with me.”
“The song itself is kinda like an All-star lineup,” Crooked I told VIBE. “It kinda symbolizes each person is playing their position just how LeBron does on the court and his team, so it’s kinda cool. I like the song. Em ripped it. I think he hit the home run, but I liked everybody’s verses.”

Who are you and what have you done with Guru? Seriously, we go from the emotional rollercoaster ride of thinkin' we're gonna lose one of the game's greatest MCs to some sick pathetic soap opera involving a man of no blood or kin relation denying family members the right to see their loved one. Now yes Keith Elam may not wanna reconcile with folks he hasn't been on good terms with for the past seven years but that's his decision not yours. From the outside lookin' in, you seem really shady. And if Guru's nephew claim is true that you signed documents as Keith Elam's brother and your wife as his sister than that's just plain alarming. An abuse of power. Releasing statements to websites and official Twitter accounts in Guru's name when he doesn't appear to be able to speak on his own behalf is also misleading and completely wrong. Be clear: At this point the only thing relevant and important is the status of Guru's health. Nobody gives a fuck about you or 7 Grand. Guru's legacy is Gang Starr. DJ Premier and Guru made classics. You and Guru make crap. And you should get slapped for meddling in family business.
I'm not dissin' but you shoulda stayed missing. Everybody in the club get tipsy. Nobody in the club remember your name. Damn shame.
Em killed it indeed!
yeah em renegaded the whole track once again
and wait.. does this mean that they still signing to shady or not?
does this mean no collabs?
lol
EMINEM DIDNT HAVE THE BEST VERSE HE HAVE THE BEST FLOW ITS A DIFFERENCES. THE REASON THEY SAY HE HAD THE BEST VERSE IS BECAUSE OF THE FLOW. EMINEM VERSE DIDNT HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE OF THE WHOLE SONG .THE WAY THE SONG GOES DRAKE KAYNE AND WAYNE STAYED TO THE STORY OF ABOUT HAVE SOMETHING FOREVER BUT EMINEM FUCK IT UP BY NOT STICKING TO THE STORY HE WENT STRAIGHT IN IT LIKE IT WAS A DAMN RAP BATTLE U GET IT . HIT ME BACK IF IM WRONG I MIGHT BE
this song was just how crooked i said it was eminem was like the all star of the team that gets called out last with the special light on him special theme music and the big pause between his name and the other starting 5 names you remember how jordan use to get introduced thats what em is like on this tracc
Drake=starting rookie looking to improve last year record
Kanye=the 2nd in command like the scottie pippen think he is the best;but is not jordan factor shit talker
Lil Wayne=the quicc guard with handles;leads in assist flashy
Eminiem=the biggest player on the team Shaq to Kobe Kobe to Pau Gasol The Lebron of the song
Slaughterhouse=the celebrity fans; get everybody talking about video more
Lebron=team owner;background for the team
sorry dawn you’re obviously wrong cuz Lebron himself (the man the documentary is about) said that Em’s verse is PERFECT!!! GET IT? PERFECT!!
no collabos? dont tell me that?.. no signin? PLEASE dont tell me that.
TO TRUTH HURTS SOMETIMES – the documentary is not just about Lebron, it is about his team mates, and the Coach. Everyone on the track brought their own style to the song which makes it diff from other songs, everything out these days seems to be the same thing as before. They are just changing it up, but Eminem is the best rapper on the track, he is in a class of his own. You cannot compare some to others as they are not at their level or style. Like LL Cool J, he does it like Em, they flow the same in a way. Everyone is diff but does not mean they are better, just different. Which is good.
So he’s denying that Slaughterhouse is joining Shady. Wonder why 50, Dre, and whoever’s left on Shady didn’t appear on the set.
