And if Guru's nephew claim is true that you signed documents as Keith Elam's brother and your wife as his sister than that's just plain alarming. An abuse of power. Releasing statements to websites and official Twitter accounts in Guru's name when he doesn't appear to be able to speak on his own behalf is also misleading and completely wrong. Be clear: At this point the only thing relevant and important is the status of Guru's health. Nobody gives a fuck about you or 7 Grand. Guru's legacy is Gang Starr. DJ Premier and Guru made classics. what the hell is attempted weapon possession. either he had a gun or he didn’t. i thought possession means in your presence. inlighten me i might be wrong. its funny how us regular people get charged with possession of an illegal firearm. but when you got two dollars its attempt. i would have been charged with a class A felony. for trying to buy a gun. he got attempt. 1yr, lets see, equals two weeks in a special jail cell. boy its great to have money. to bad most of us don’t. lay easy lil wayne. you’ll sleep through this jail time.

Wayne was going to fight the charges because the weapon was not in his possession. His defense team though it would best to cop a plea when the judge allowed the DA to admit into evidence that Wayne’s DNA was on the weapon.
NY doesn’t play with those weapons charges.
