How is it possible that one of the biggest embarrassments of not just rap music but one of the most obvious examples of buffoonery and cheap marketing is able to collaborate on so many tracks with respected rappers? Gucci in no way entertains, surprises or sonically expands your musical tastes – it’s disgusting how poor of an excuse he is as an artist. I’m not ranting on him as a person, it’s my dislike for such pointless gimmicks as himself who are able to grab the spotlight as they are easy to place in a profitable box as opposed to much more unique and inspiring lyricist who struggle to find a platform worthy of their talents. On the contrary, I’m not hating either – as that would require me to envy his status and talents, which would mean I have low expectations in my life as if you’re in it simply for the money, then you’re simply a whore as you’ll probably do anything for a price.

^ I feel ya man but I guess Gucci is the “it” dude of the moment so everybody feels the need to work with him to move a couple of units(still sad to see Luda and Big Boi mess wit him). Gucci is in it for the money obviously,he doesn’t give a damn about pushing music forward but whats crazy to me is that hardly anybody was checkin for dude when he 1st dropped. But every since he caught a body and started doing tons of mixtapes rapping over bootleg Shawty Redd beats he all of a sudden is considered “real” lol. Thats the way the rap game works.
*waits for somebody to tell me stop hatin on gucci and get money*
