“I called the album ‘The Chemo’ because it seems like the industry and music overall is dying slowly,” Busta told Billboard.com of the Flipmode/Universal Motown project, slated for an early 2010 release. “The cancer that’s stricken the business is killing the music, not only from a business standpoint, but also the value of the content and the creativity behind it. I just want to start the first stage of chemotherapy treatment that needs to take place and hopefully inspire others to do their part and contribute to different stages of the cure.”

Hopefully this Chemo album will be really good because the Back On My Bullshit album was wack. The only song I thought was good on B.O.M.B was Respect My Conglomerate. Hopefully he comes through this time.

“This album is a classic!!!”
“Every track is a banger!!!”

“I’m going to save hip-hop!!!”
…then you listen to it and it barely has a couple of decent tracks, and only sells like 200K. I know that a lot of it is just them trying to play their persona and have “swag” or whatever…but it makes them look ridiculous. A lot of dudes have lost credibility in my book.
If the fans start supporting real hiphop albums like Only Built For Cuban Linx 2 instead of trash like Curtis and Plies then maybe this wouldn’t be a problem.
