    R2 WILL BE A CLASSIC
get elevator & hell breaks loose on itunes NOW

  2. RapMusic says:

Em murderd wayne for the second time in one year! Cant wait for Relapse2=)

  3. e20 says:

Stop It right now Little Wayne Carter!
Baby, Slim dont let Wayne do this
    This is trash.
Not to mention this is the second track where em proved that Wayne is nowhere near the same weight class as hip hops heavy weight lyricist.

  4. Roy says:

This is a tight track. Although Wayne sounded bored at times, he has some nice lyrics. Em came with the lyrics and as usual the flow. The beat is tight too.

    Overall it’s a good song.

  5. Oj Da Cornball says:

    Em killed him.
I sense Em taking subliminal at him again on here. Just me though

  6. cat says:

    Good song.

While Curtis 50 “baby mama drama” Woodface Johnson sings about baby mamas, disses his baby mama, and tries to sneak up on Jay-Z’s bung-hole… weezy and em are making history.

Holy shit… I’d liked to have seen Curtis 50 “baby mama drama” Woodface Johnson’s face when he heard about this project, and when he heard the cut.

It’s a bad year for Curtis 50 “baby mama drama” Woodface Johnson. He was crushed by Jay-Z, Rick Ross, and now it’s Weezy’s turn.

  7. mmkayy says:

mac DIESAL (idiot) was kinda right on this one.. RR was mad late lol

  8. DeJuan says:

    B. Dot and YN must be pretty fucking busy.. What up with the late stuff homie?

  9. ASID says:

lol….After this song..No artist will ever want to work with eminem again

    Jay-z..Kanye…Drake..50 cent…

    and now Lil wayne

    haha

    classic!!!!!!!!!

  10. Patricio says:

its official everytime u say or type a word u owe eminem 10 cents cuz this dude owns the english language he can shift it and shape it to whatever he wants

  11. WayneWHO?? says:

Em is the best hands down!!!!!!!! (After Jay)
    Em murdered this!!!!!!!
I had to hear it like 3 times to get everything he said!
Wayne’s not even close for ppl to say hes top 5 of all time!

Wayne is garbage!!!! EM should re-do this whole track and re-release it!!!!!!

  12. Ty says:

So few highly anticipated songs live up to the expectations….. this is just another one .

No hate at all but I’m starting to think that Wayne can only rhyme in 2 patterns . It also doesn’t help him that Drake borrows very heavily from Wayne’s signature pattern, helping to play it out for him . The fact that even Wayne’s most well thought out content is simplistic at best is another flaw that I just can’t ignore .

Em does his thing on this track but that’s nothing new for him . It just seems better when contrasted against Wayne’s mediocre skills .

Wayne has mad swag, that’s what his fans love . When they move on to the next fad, he doesn’t have the lyrical skill or content to stay at the top of the game . He will always have some fans, but just like Ja, Nelly, 50 and others who were more style than substance , his reign at the top will be short. If he gets sober and really works on his game then who knows ? Recording all the time won’t help him if he doesn’t take some time away to correct flaws in his flow, he will just spit a million rhymes the same way . Maybe the year away will do him a lot of good. He has the potential to be really good , we’ll see if he can change directions and live up to it .

^ nahh dude i agree.. its kinda funny Em does everytime got ppl second guessin

  14. ASID says:

lol…Relapse 2 fukin gettin alot of buzz mayne

hope i get my MMLP part 2

  15. Kelt says:

Em always says he doesn’t compete with other rappers but at the same time he gives his best on collabos and always destroys them on their own shit (Renegade, Patienly waiting, I’ll hurt you, We ain’t etc).

  16. mikey says:

    stop hatin on rap radar
it is has ALOT OF EMINEM EXCLUSIVES

  17. dajumpoff44 says:

Good song!Em as usual proves why there is no competition! He just gets on tracks and destroys them!!Hands down arguably the best to bless a mic!Wayne did his thing but,Shady is that DUDE!!

  18. SaTAN says:

OH SHIT, em is getting that mmlp aggression again, absolutely murdered it. First decent track off rebirth.

  19. Drucifer says:

Em did his thing as usual, but outside of his verse this song is horrible

  20. QDOT says:

YO WHY DOES WAYNE KEEP GETTING ON TRACKS WITH EM IT JUST MAKES WAYNE LOOK STUPID!!!

  21. jus listen says:

    ^^
drucifer not really, the chorus is dope

  22. MC says:

    @Cat

Da fuck does this post have to do with 50 Cent?!?…Da fuck are talkin about??

  23. CapitalP says:

This is filler music on an album that needs work … Weezy is overexposed he sounds tired , bored etc ..Em is always fluid but this isnt making say Wow by any measure.

  24. Young Sha says:

    Em murdered Weezy 🙁

  25. llll says:

wo wo wo people…are u hating on anything wayne does(not a fan of wayne)….this song was hard they both went in…yeah eminem is better than wayne on this but its ok…give wayne a credit for his hard try…he tried and really he was close…if this was 2002 he wouldn’t be able to stand…but he’s lucky that eminem is not at his best…i think he can do better than this…thats why R2 will be a classic!!

  26. JayJay says:

Em the game needs your anger!!! Return of the white boy!!!!

  27. ROC_NY_2012 says:

Okay, I don’t know how anyone can hate on this track. It’s smooth but hard at the same time. Emotions are described and feelings are felt. Em’s verse is just out of this world enjoyable to listen too and whoever is knockin’ on Weezy needs to check themselves because I honestly am not a fan of ANY of his music since C3 but this is some good material for him right here. Rebirth will probably be a disappointment collectively but this song is no doubt a 4/5, and i’ll even give it a 5/5 just cause Em went IN!

  28. Kenny says:

Magnifique , j’adore ! Eminem a tout niqué , la guitare acoustique qui s’ajoute c’est formidable !Wayne colle au son parfaitement !

  29. graf says:

    Em’s verse:
It hurts, but I never show this pain you’ll never know
If only you could see just how lonely and how cold
And frostbit I’ve become, my back’s against the wall
When push come to shove, I just stand up and scream “Fuck ‘em all”
Man, it feels like these walls are closing in
This roof is caving in, up its time to razor thin
Your days are numbered like pagers and
My book of rhymes, got ‘em cookin’, boy
This crooked mind of mine got ‘em all
Shook and scared to look in my eyes
I stole that fuckin’ clock, I took the time and I
    Came up from behind
    And pretty much snuck up
    And butt-fucked this game up
Better be careful when you bring my name up
Fuck this fame, that ain’t what
I came to claim but the game
Ain’t gonna be the same on the day that I leave it
But I swear one way or another imma make these fuckin’ haters believe that
I swear to God, won’t spare the rod
I’m a man of my word, so your fuckin’ heads better nod
Or imma fuck around in this bitch and roast everybody!
Sleep on me, that pillow is where your head’ll lie
    Permanently, bitch, it’s beddy-bye
This world is my Easter egg, yeah! prepare to die
My head is swole, my confidence is up
    This stage is my pedestal
    I’m unstoppable, incredible
Hope you’re trapped in my medicine ball
I could run circles around you so fast your fuckin’ head’ll spin, dawg
I split your cabbage and your lettuce and olives
    I’ll fuckin’

  30. OCHOV says:

I think 2010 in gonna be the year Weezy takes over from Jay as being the most hated on great rapper. How can anyone not be impressed by the whole song it was balanced and sick cause there styles were both so different on it. And if u don’t think Wayne’s top 5 than i think you’re crazy.

  31. amaos says:

WOW EMINEM KILLED IT AGAIN!!! NEVA SLEEP ON HIM

  32. Will says:

i wonder why people are surprise whenever wayne get on a song with some real spitters he always get murdered like Ludacris Em Nas Jay-Z he can never get the best of them on a tracc he might get TI everynow and then and Kanye a couple of times but real spitters Like Ludacris Destroy this nigga

like TI and Kanye is the highest caliber MC wayne going to be able to compete and tell the truth I think TI outdo wayne so Kanye is the highest Caliber MC wayne can compete with he just do so many songs with these subpar rappers and these pop singers who cant sell records that it really look like he can hold his own with Em but em is motherfuccing spitter like if this rap shit was minimum wage Em would still be doing this

Like real talk these are the MCs thats buzzin now that Wayne Cant fucc with on a tracc: Nas,Em,Andre 3k,Jay, Lupe Fiasco,Ludacris TI(from time to time) and Chamillionaire oh. and Juelz he murders wayne everytime

all the other rappers is open field of course dude is going to seem like he that good when Birdman is on like half of his songs and he rapping on more female singers songs than he is with actual rappers

but i think he is trying to get better becuz he keep getting on songs with Jay and Em shit he not baccing down like damn near every other rapper in the game

  33. WILL says:

game over…..eminem killed weezy once again….OMG

  34. illmatic says:

ya since c3 i kinda lost my ear for weezy. this yr he had a few lines that really stuck with me…none of which i can remember now. lol. i’m not looking forward to rebirth at all. but this is song i give them both props. maybe wayne aint ur type of artist or maybe em aint ur type of artist but its true the emotion in this song certainly does show, and i’m sure for a rap fan this is a track worth the listen (over and over). oh ya and shady is mean!!!!

  35. bstep says:

song is pretty dope.. eminem is pure fire.. not only does he kill his verse, but i think his hook is hotter than waynes as well.. wayne did his thing tho.. his flow just isnt comparable to ems. Em has too much anger and emotion on the track and wayne is just chillen spittin slow flow like he usualy does.. overall good track.. but ya gotta give it up to the white boy…hes back….

  36. Will says:

like wayne is anywhere where that checc is I mean dude got on a Ja Rule Post Blood in My Eyes song LOL and the song was horrible

  37. lola says:

now wayne.. He was straight. He wasn’t just spittin pointless bullshit. He was on some lyrical shit. BUT….
as ALWAYS Em, spazzed on a nigga. There’s no point in addressing it anymore. To semi-quote Family Guy, Eminem outshinin you on your own shit “is like sex with Kobe Bryant. Whether you want it or not…its gonna happen.” lol.

I always wanna quote a bar or two of em’s shit but he just gave too many. don’t wanna type that much.i gave this about 3 spins and im still getting the internal rhyming in em’s verse the rhyming scheme is heavenly..the way the flow speeds up is perfect and the metaphors and the similes ohh man cant even describe how amazing that shit is
    if anyones keeping score its
    wayne-0
    em-2

  38. Blakout615 says:

YAWWWWWWWN @ ppl doing the Wayne vs EM thing. Just sit back, enjoy the song and STFU.
Of course EM is better than wayne, hell wayne damn near admitted it b4 but damn just chill the fuck out lol.

  39. nushay says:

someone should take a hot line and make it a hot song called “eminem murderd you on your own shit”

  40. jamie says:

And Eminem has once again murdered on a collab.
Glad Eminem is bringing that anger back. This is what the fans want.

Well atleast rebirth has one good song so far.
    im liking it 🙂

  41. obama says:

this song showed me 2 things:

1 – Eminem could have actually pulled off the rock album concept that weezy is going for… why? because he actually has musical talent beyond making a typical rap song…

2 – Dropping this album will prove to be one of the worst career moves Weezy ever made… He has no sense of melody (although he’s achieved some pretty catchy ones using AUTOTUNE), no sense of song structure and the whole “look mom I’m a rock star” routine is SO contrived that it comes through all of the songs I’ve heard off this project so far…

I was just thinking that this ‘Rebirth’ album is the equivalent of Coldplay deciding one day that they want to make a gangster rap album… Shit comes off awkward and forced when you attempt to cash-in on, I mean pay homage to, a genre and culture that you can’t truly understand… I understand that Weezy is a fan of rock music, but couldn’t he just stick to riding around in his Bentley listening to Fall Out Boy?!

  42. JayJay says:

WAIT DID EM MEAN PREPARE TO DYE…..like DYING AN EASTER EGG?! I just caught that….shit was kinda clever

  43. JayJay says:

At obama Eminem already made sort of a rock rap album….it was called The EMINEM SHOW!!

  44. Roy says:

The Eminem Show wasn’t rock rap album. It was a hip hop album first. But it’s very rock influenced. It’s not hard enough to be a rock album first. But yea it’s rock influenced like crazy.

  45. Pain says:

As usual, Em killed it. Wayne sucks

  46. nonny says:

    great track, eminem>lilwayne

  47. gi joe says:

they should’ve waited on this and dropped it later. shit is like a sequel to “forever”, eminem used the same flow, and wayne was boring. i guess they did this just to do it. cuz they go harder than shit.
    3/10

  48. DoubleA says:

Nice track!! Both artist did what they planned to do on this track!! Wayne wasn’t trying to spit or even compete with Em on this track. He was just trying to make good music. Why must everything be a competition? Some of y’all just wait for RR to put a Wayne or Drake or Kanye song up just so you can hate. When you wish you had half the talent they do. If you dont like it , then dont listen to it. Go back to working your graveyard shift and get a damn life!! Haters!!

  49. Mokh says:

THe eminem’s album that have been the most influenced by Rock is the marshall mathers lp!

  50. JayJay says:

Mokh I disagree. I feel that it was the eminem show

  51. Interscope Employee says:

Eminem murdered it!!! Interscope on top

  52. Gay-Z says:

Em is always going to better then Wayne… only faggots think otherwise.

  53. Toya says:

This song needs work. And by work I mean get rid of Weezy’s annoying voice at the beginning. Em’s verse was this songs only saving grace.

  54. cam says:

different than what i was expecting.. but i liked it.. only song i can listen to on rebirth from start to finish.. big homie said it perfect ‘one of the only tolerable tracks off rebirth’

  55. Coolin says:

As expected, Em makes Lil Wayne look like Bow Wow.

  56. lol says:

Wayne is a fool he don’t get it he wanted a collab with Em and Em only obliged to prove that money aint NOWHERE near his league Weezy greatest rapper alive? CMON SON! These cats need to rethink throwin Eminem on tracks with them if they aint gonna come with some fiya so far he ethered the 2 supposed greatest rappers alive on they own isht money can’t help you spit

  57. HENNESSEY says:

    CMON WAYNE YOU 0-2 BRO

  58. MissGennyS says:

Chorus is catchy. They both did their thing, but of course, no one can complete with Em. Looking forward to R2!

  59. Adam says:

LISTEN TO WAYNES LYRICS. They’re better than Ems, Ems flow is better though.

  60. ojolo says:

anyone else laugh at the chorus the first time round?

  61. Person says:

    @Adam
    Congrats.
    Your officially retarded.
You didnt even need a doctor to tell you.

  62. hohoho says:

i like eminems part…..wayne is catchy

wayne went slow catchy verse….eminem went lyrical as always

but this is not that track…..THAT track where they both go 100% lyrical

hopefully we see that track soon…such as waynes verse on jadas album or ludas album

then we can truely compare the two lyrically

  63. Mike Mulcahy says:

Eminem is f#$king ripping it up he makes this song

  64. JaYSoN says:

It aint what i thought it would be like be Eminem did bring like i knew he would..i don’t think nobody ever out shined Em on a track and by the looks of it i don’t think its gonna happen anytime soon either

  65. weezy says:

    @person

Adam is actually right. wtf are you talking about???

  66. loso says:

all yall are dickheads lil wayne lyrics was way better then em’s em was juss ryhmin kinda fast witch cought all yall attention betta listen up clean yall ears plzzz!!!!

  67. Lil' Nello says:

They both killed it & held there own on it! Although Em had a slight edge! This the Wayne we all been waiting for where he’s actually spitting heat again to!

  68. Nathaniel says:

the first verse was pure poetry. straight up.

dope song though. wayne sounds like a true artist on this joint…interesting. you can hear the pain and emotion in his words.

prolly WONT be copping Rebirth, lil…but this joint was dope. of course em had the lyrical wizardry, but i liked wayne’s part more. i feel that nigga on this one.

  69. amityvilleev says:

Eminem ripped Wayne even though that’s not near his best. Period

  70. Roy says:

Wayne’s and Em’s lyrics were on the same level. Em had a better delivery and crazy emotion though.

  71. JayJay says:

Of all the rappers that talk about taking over the game and being the best you can only respect Em and Jay’s lyrics. I mean they literally run the fucking rap game and do whatever they want

  72. RICH1 says:

…his world is my easter egg getting prepared to die
    my head is swoll
    my confidence is up
    this stage is my pedastal
    im unstoppable the incredible hulk
your trapped in my medicine ball
I can run circles around you so fast your f-ckin head will spin dog,
Ill split your cabbage and your lettuce and i’ll f-ckin….

  73. RICH1 says:

I stole that f-ckin clock, i took the time and i came up from behind
and pretty much snuck up and butt f-cked this game up
better be careful when you bring my name up f-ck this fame

I swear to God, (?) im a man of my word
so your f-ckin heads better nod….

  74. Lupicc says:

Can’t believe some of u people on here.
U don’t even listen to lil wayne. No matter what he does next u r goin to hate. He has no chance even if he one day became the greatest lyricist ever he wouldn’t be acknowledged.
I understand why alot of u hate him cus of among other things Carter 3. But goddamn, when he acctually does something good, give him some credit.

  75. the_Whaaat says:

definately my new favorite song…this shit is dope

  76. koa29 says:

This needs to be a single… video nd & all… shit will BLOW up…… c’mon!!!! DO IT!!!!!

  77. dmc says:

you have to admit Waynes first verse was pure dope, but its hard to listen to it cuz i always end up startin the song at Ems part, haha

  78. bstep says:

the whole song is dope.. but you cant even say waynes lyrics are better.. yeah hes got some emotion and a few clever lines.. but you have to replay ems verse multiple times to even catch the shit he is sayin.. Everything he says has a meaning or a double meaning.. Shits amazing.. overall good song.. but if u wanna go and compare the artists its not even a competition.. shady.

  79. d-nice says:

    EM KILLED THIS HES BACK!!!!

  80. NEKS says:

wayne is hot and em toook it a whole diffrent route. hotness

  81. gohome11 says:

  82. Sin says:

Both was Kold. But neither was klose to 90% admit it.
I’m sure they got more in the works. Wayne first verse was poetic.

  90. Inglewoodheez says:

Yall trippen, listen to the song again Waynes verses is nise as hell, and we all know how mr.mathers gets down.

  91. Rick Ross says:

My name is Rick Ross Da Boss and Eminem is wack. Worst verse ever. I’m better than him.

OK SO I’M REALLY WAITING FOR ROSS TO RESPOND AND SAY THAT EMINEM IS WEAK. AND PLEASE EMINEM, DESTROY ROSS IN A SONG, IM DYING TO SEE THAT.

    eminem = goat

  92. nushay says:

ppl go buy “hell breaks loose” “and elevator” on ITUNES and support eminem

  93. ms_daydreamer says:

This is pretty much magic… BOTH of them were legit!

  94. willie mcfly22 says:

why do muh fuggas stay puttin the white boy on they shit…is it for the sales? but why look like the weaker dude on ya own shit??…Em is that dude, always has been…like he says, all he know how to do is RAP!

  95. rap critic (unbiased) says:

Eminem is my favorite rapper but not on his latest features. Eminem lost to himself. He battle raps when nobody else is battling. Im glad he stopped singing cause it was awful. I wonder how long it took Em to “write his lyrics”. Imagined if Wayne was still in the lower class of rap and still wrote raps. lol. That separates good artist from great artist. I think I changed my mind on who’s my favorite now.

  96. Roy says:

Em’s always been a battle rapper. Even in his old songs he battled even if there wasn’t anyone on the track with him. Where have you been?

  97. yaboitone says:

    I LOVE SITUATIONS LIKE THIS!!!!!!
THEY ALLOW ME TO CLEARLY SEE WHAT POSTERS ARE STANS, FRONTERS, FAKES, IDIOTS, DUMBASSES, COPYCATS, BANDWAGON BITCHES, OR JUST SIMPLY MADE A MISTAKE BECAUSE THEY WERE TOO QUICK TO JUDGE, VS. THE ONES THAT ARE

    REAL NON BIASED HIPHOP HEADS.

The REAL HIPHOP HEADS know FOR A FACT that wayne’s verse’s were nicer. He FINALLY gave stepped his game back up and proved that he can be a lyrical rapper and not just a catchy, silly, metaphor slingin clown. Like one poster said his shit was “pure poetry.” it was HIPHOP. Not only was Eminem’s verse just full of played out CLICHES and METAPHORS HES USED BEFORE, but it was sloppy!!!!! listen to it carefully. he actually stumbles and forces his words on some parts where they don’t really fit.

Like DMX said: “Shit niggaz put out? I’d be wrong if I let it past
Think that shit is hot bitch, JUST BECAUSE YOU SAID IT FAST? (WHAT?!)
I’m about to dead it fast, you pumped off unleaded gas (c’mon!)”

also: i DOUBT that it’s just me, but i LOVE that f****n hook!! imma make it my catch phrase for a while. lol. everytime a nigga say some shit i dont like, imma grab him by the collar, look him in the eyes, and scream “BITCH IMMA PICK THE WORLD UP AND IMMA DROP IT ON YO FUCKIN HEAD!!” LOL. ok. soundin real lame after i typed it. but yall saw where my heart was at.

  98. Roy says:

    @ Yaboitone

You would fit in the Lil Wayne Stan category. And if we want to go by cliches, Wayne’s verse is full of cliches I’ve heard before. As for the metaphors and shit for Em, I don’t recall Em ever using them before.

Lil Wayne’s verse being better is not a fact. Here’s a fact. When Em gets on a track with Wayne, there are more Em stans then Wayne stans, so the Wayne stans feel the need to protect their idol and scatter to all the hip hop blogs and sites to defend him. That’s a fact. There’s a big difference between Em stans and Wayne stans. While they are both equally annoying, Em stans are a lot more confident. They really don’t feel the need to defend Eminem. They come in and they already speak saying Em has the better verse. Wayne stans on the other hand read these and go nuts. So people like you come in and try to act like you listen to any other hip hop when you really don’t. All that is fact.

As for who has the better verse. Again, I put Em’s lyrics on level with Wayne’s. However Em had the better delivery. Not only did he ride the melody, but he of course brought his trademark crazy rhyme scheme.

Here’s what happens. When Em gets featured on another artists work especially today, he usually goes with a quick flow. What’s the automatic reaction to people that don’t like him? “Oh he’s not saying anything. He’s just rhyming.” Everyone knows that’s bullshit. This may be a shocker to you but it’s possible to rap fast and be lyrical. Em’s done it before. In fact he’s done it a million times. Now that he’s back, all the Stans of other artists get all pissed off. That’s because they are threatened by him. Em ruled this game at one time. From 99-04 he was the pinnacle of success. People worked towards that. He was at the top lyrically, and sales wise. A lot of people don’t want that to happen again. I don’t know if it will, but if it ever does, well that can only be good for hip hop. When there’s a rapper that’s crazy lyrically and sells a lot, that’s only good for hip hop. When Em left the game in 04, someone had to take his place. And it wasn’t someone that was as good or better. It was someone significantly worse. That’s why hip hop sucks right now. A lot of it anyway.

That’s all real talk. I’ve listened to hip hop since ’95 and I watched the game have it’s up and downs. Once Em left, that shit when down. WAY down. Now he’s back, and even though his album wasn’t that good, he’s been killing it since then. Next time he’s featured with an artist, don’t come with that same old tired bullshit kid. “He’s just rhyming and not saying anything” won’t cut it. REAL hip hop heads know this guy is lyrical. Whether you accept it or not. Well that’s your problem. You should try listening to other artists instead of Wayne. Like Tech N9ne or something. Or Nas. It can only do good for you.

  99. yaboitone says:

-i cant believe u just typed all of that and your FIRST LINE is wrong? lmfao. i dont like wayne. i dont buy his albums. i hate his voice and think it is very annoying on MOST of his music. If i had to be classified as a stan (which im not) IT WOULD BE EMINEM AND NOT WAYNE YOU FUCKHEAD? LOL. so this makes the first 1,2, or 3 paragraphs your dum ass typed irrelevant. moving on.

-OF COURSE you can ACTUALLY be saying something in a double time flow? LOL. u didnt just share any GREAT knowledge telling me that? fact remains, Em didn’t….IN MY OPINION and the opinion of those with an i.q. above 65. it wasn’t deep and broading. it wasn’t poetic. it wasn’t compelling. it was the EXACT SAME bullshit male bravado, “nobody appreciates me,” bullshit hes been on for a while. Most of the time i argue that Eminem is a BRILLIANT lyricist and a TRUE STUDENT OF THE ART OF RAPPING. But here is what his “stans” fail to understand. Em has mastered the logistics of the craft. Cadence, flow, delivery, word play (most of the time but not in this song), pace, energy, and creativity (again not in this song). With all of that being said: EVERYTIME HE TOUCHES A MIC HE DOESN’T SAY SOME PROFOUND INCREDIBLE SHIT! he has begun to master the art of hiding his AVERAGE lyrics behind the logistical and asthetic aspects of rapping that like i said before, he has mastered. Eminem probably sat down for HOURS if not DAYS or longer to CONSTRUCT this and most of the time putting that extra work in is a good thing. THIS TIME however, it came off as artificial, bland, and OVERDONE. same ole bullshit.

if u disagree wit my opinion i could really give a fuck. lol.

oh. and youve listened to hiphop since 95?? lmfao??? THATS IT??? 95!!!??!?!?
man u dont even qualify to hate on my opinion.u still need to hit hiphop puberty and pop her cherry. its ok. i was a young ignorant whippersnapper like u at one point. lol. since i know your type now, i realize that there is nothing i can tell you. the fact remains, that if u dont understand why waynes verse was better, u dont understand hiphop yet. and no matter how much i try to explain it to you, you won’t be able to grasp this concept. so i give up. only time and experience will enrich your understanding. not some random internet guy trying to tell u something.

  100. yaboitone says:

oh. and eminem singing to start his verse……ABSOLUTE WHACKEST PART OF THE SONG.

  101. nate.(em stan) says:

snuck up and butt fucked this game up

Better be careful when you bring my name up

    @ Yaboitone
“but i LOVE that f****n hook!! imma make it my catch phrase for a while.”
-that makes you a wayne stan.

    @Roy
He was at the top lyrically, and sales wise
    -HE still is.

    sidenote.
( think about why we are all using the word stan)

  102. Drucifer says:

Ya’ll got too much time on your hands typing out those essays on who you thought came off better, lol

    Eminem >Lil wayne

…..And I dont gotta use 1,000 words to explain why, it should be obvious

  103. Roy says:

    @Yaboitone

Yea well at least I’m honest with myself. Yea I’ve listened to hip hop since ’95. Gotta problem with it? Wayne’s lyrics aren’t as great as you say. You say Em’s is cliche. So is Wayne’s. Again, I put both of their lyrics on the same level. As for being poetic. Well, that’s what all rap is. It’s poetry. So what you say is irrelevant. Em’s lyrics are poetry. That’s not opinion based. That’s a fact.

I know Em’s lyrics are average. That’s obvious. But so are Wayne’s. The difference between the two is that Wayne sounds bored and has a weak delivery. Em has always talked about how he doesn’t get the credit deserves. That’s because he doesn’t. People always refuse to acknowledge his skills even after 10 years in the game.

Wayne stan or not, your OPINION isn’t fact. Yea I respect it’s your opinion but do I have to quote you?

“The REAL HIPHOP HEADS know FOR A FACT that wayne’s verse’s were nicer.”

Trust me, I wouldn’t have gone off on you if that wasn’t there. I would have just had a nice hip hop argument with you. You need to proof read your shit before posting. Make sure you aren’t saying dumb ass shit. No offense.

  104. Roy says:

Hip hop isn’t all about what you’re saying. If you don’t deliver it well, nobody would want to listen to it. He sounded so bored. Em’s verse was full anger, had a nice delivery, good rhymes. Wayne’s was to simplistic. Not my type of rap.

  105. Roy says:

Sorry for the triple post but the verses don’t make this song.

The chemistry between the two do. They sound good on a track together. Since Wayne is in the studio with Em and Just Blaze, we’ll probably hear them again on Relapse 2.

  106. Neutral says:

As a big fan of both and a big fan of hip hop

Em had a better verse, wayne had 2 verses, and I found myself just rewinding em’s for awhile and not just because its a fast verse.

Joel Ortiz – “Nowadays the rewind button got mad dust on it”

Em’s back, and I’d lie if I said wayne doesnt have me hittin the button too

As for the Stans, THINK ABOUT WHY WE EVEN USE THAT WORD!!!! Where is its ORIGIN!?

  107. Harlem1980 says:

    nate.(em stan) says:
    sidenote.
( think about why we are all using the word stan)

finally somebody said it. I don’t think I’ll have to say anything else. I’ve been thinking the same thing for the longest and finally somebody understands.

  108. JayJay says:

Neutral and Harlem1980 are on point!! This is just one way Em has left his mark on hip hop. Just study Em’s verse. It’s sounding like old Em more and more. He’s getting better lyrically metaphorically and his verse is actually kinda clever. “your days are numbered like pages in my book of rhymes gottem cookin boy this crooked mind of mine gottem all shook and scared to look in my eyes, I stole that fucking clock I took the time…..”

  109. jamie says:

IM SICK OF PEOPLE USING THIS ” STAN ” TERM.
JUST BECAUSE ONE PERSON LIKES EMINEM OR WAYNE. THEY GET CALLED A STAN.
WHY? BECAUSE SOMEONE HAS AN OPINION ON WHO THEY LIKE BETTER THEY GET CALLED DICK RIDERS?
    BIT STUPID REALLY.

JUST ENJOY THE MUSIC. IM A HUGE EMINEM FAN. BUT A FEW LIL WAYNE SONGS.
EMINEM DID HAVE THE BETTER VERSE, ITS NOT TO HEAR THAT.
    BUT WAYNE ALSO DELIVERED.

NO ONE CAN HATE ON THE SONG. ITS HOT !

  110. jamie says:

MESSED UP A FEW WORDS ON THAT POST LOL. ” BUT I LIKE A FEW LIL WAYNE SONGS ”
” ITS NOT HARD TO HEAR THAT “

  111. Mokh says:

the first verse from wayne is full of great metaphors the 2nd one is a regular verse and the two verses are short and the rhymes are not at the same level than eminem’s verse
Eminem’s verse is all rhymes, he begins talkin about his lonliness and finish talkin about how he can ass-fuck everybody in this rap game. and while he’s telling you this and while everybody is concentrated in his rhymes, flow and crazy ideas he drop what for me is the deeper line in this song: hope that u’r trapped in my medicine ball..
Does anybody remember the concept behind the “medicine ball ” song??
Anyway, like eminem said, there is no best rapper. there are rappers that are the best in their own rap category.
So, for me, eminem is the best storyteller describer and rhymer in Rap History
Lil Wayne is a great, maybe the greatest, metaphorist right now “remember that wayne got only one number one album, so his future albums will make him a better or a worse rapper”

    Maybe I’m wrong!!
And I’m not an eminem stan, i’m a “good music” stan!

  112. Mokh says:

I’m not an eminem and not a lil wayne stan..

  113. chris says:

EM USED ALOT OF METAPHORS. Does ANYONE EVEN KNOW WHAT “SPARE THE ROD MEANS? I swear to God, won’t spare the rod: GOOGLE IT BITCHES

  114. nushay says:

@chris i was wondering what that meant..care to enlighten me??

  115. nushay says:

ohh man i just googled it..he taling about the new cats in the game..ohh shit

  116. nushay says:

the guy who produced this beat just had an interview he says “”””When I heard Em’s verse, I forgot I made the beat [Laughs].”””

  117. Legend says:

Everyone is afraid of Eminem. He may very well possibly be the Best Rapper Ever. i am not a Wayne Fan by any means, but he is a hard worker and refuses to quit. This Track is Legit. those who don’t like it are just the people who don’t want to add Glory to the artists who already have so much.

  118. Will says:

ya boi tone is a Wayne stan

like to be honest I thought Wayne verse was nice and i was like em going to give his all which he hasnt been lately and after the 1st listen i thought Wayne won becuz that 1st line was the most memorable line that “Ice in my veins blood in my eyes” line that shit is classic and to start off with that so i played the song again becuz em raps so fast and you gotta catch some of the stuff he be saying he was saying some shit that last line “I can run circles around you so fast yo head will spin split yo cabbage and you’ll lettuce(Let us) in” and the pillow line and the line about he snucc up

like other than that 1st line i dont remember Wayne verse and em singin is wacc so what is wayne autotuning LOL dude you a wayne stan you seen the carter when wayne was trying to sing the hook was alrite the beat was bangin

I think overall its good song and i think em was the highlight of the song it made it that much better like if wayne thought it was wacc dude couldve easily took him off the song

  119. Sean.H says:

eminems verse is always the sickest part of the song doesnt matter if its with tupac lil wayne or jay-z eminems verse is always better!

  120. […] New Music: Lil Wayne x Eminem “Drop The World” Finally, here is the highly anticipated collabo from Weezy and Marshall. It’s actually one of the few […] […]

  121. Raperzdlight says:

its really not all about the rapers i love the beat its fucking awesome — i wish i had the instr cuz it fucking bumps its all i gatta say

Note: anyone can rap but the beat stays in the mindsof others for ever…

  122. joe wooden says:

That new song with weezy and marshall drop the world is the shit and em went the fuck off on that track!!!! I hope they keep doin music together.

  123. Steve-O says:

This song is hot as hell and if any body got a problem with wayne can go kick rocks and thick about wat they said. wayne work hard to get where his at. Eminem too the same its. Its a new generation of rap, rap is going to change. this rap came from the work of two artist, and I respct the art they both have done. weezy is one of the best modern rappers their is at the very top. so if you don”t like weezy think why is he at the very top.

  124. rukus says:

They both killed it both legends

  125. Shiantain says:

YO this track was hard as shit… I love you lil wayne your awesome.. And eminem i love you… Yal did ya thing.. slam killed it together!!!!!!!!!!!!

  126. djemir says:

Wayne has a few nice lines in this The best line I thought from Lil Wayne was [My] “Confidence is a stain they can’t wipe off” but then Eminem comes on and just kills it entirely with his cadence he knows how to put together seriously melodic raps that have amazing one liners, analogies and metaphors. Eminem’s verse was hard as hell. When I first heard Eminem on “Just don;t Give a F***” I loved him, the funny thing is the other song that really broke him out “Hi my name is..” I actually didnl;t like as much as I felt it was gimmicky and I ended up not liking Em for a bit because of the gimmicks but when you really listen you realize how amazing he realy is and he totally won me back over quickly and oh my lord on “Rap God” he really takes that to the next level I think he is word for word pound for pound the best rapper out there. – http://www.djemir.com
