Floyd Mayweather On Fight Cancellation
Pretty Boy Floyd issued this statement regarding the scrapped bout between him and Manny Pacquiao.
Throughout this whole process I have remained patient, but at this point I am thoroughly disgusted that Pacquiao and his representatives are trying to blame me for the fight not happening when clearly the blame is on them.
First and foremost, not only do I want to fight Manny Pacquiao, I want to whip his punk ass. Before the mediation, my team proposed a 14-day, no blood testing window leading up to the fight. But it was rejected. I am still proposing the 14-day window but he is still unwilling to agree to it, even though this is obviously a fair compromise on my part as I wanted the testing to be up until the fight and he wanted a 30-day cut-off.
The truth is he just doesn’t want to take the tests. In my opinion it is Manny Pacquiao and his team who are denying the people a chance to see the biggest fight ever. I know the people will see through their smokescreens and lies. I am ready to fight and sign the contract. Manny needs to stop making his excuses, step up and fight.

i think floyd is full of shit… anybody that does any type of hard core full contact sport is NOT gonna get a blood test 14 days BEFORE the fight…. thats physical suicide… 30 days seemed resonable to me… and is floyd takin this test as well? cuz if not, then ITS really bullshit!! and if floyd talkin so big bout how he really wanna fight manny, then why accuse him of steroids and bring up the drug test shit IN THE FIRST PLACE?! i smell bullshit.
OF COURSE he’s taking the test TOO so there is NO bullshit about it?? It’s a 100% equal playing field and it erases the possibility of someone being amped up on drugs. And WTF do we know? Maybe Manny IS using PEDs, and Floyd and OTHER BIG PEOPLE IN THE BUSINESS know about it.
It’s very very simple:
-Floyd COMPROMISED to 14days AND he is taking the test too (which he was all along).
-It’s Pacquiao who want accept ANY terms ACCEPT his own?? BULLSHIT! PUSSY!
-I’m Floyd fuckin Mayweather. WTF would i risk an L when i have GOOD reason to believe the nigga im fighting is taking PEDs? I guess i’ll test him, that way i can still whoop dat ass.

Mayweather wants to finish unbeaten and he knows there is a VERY big chance pacquiao will beat him.. he should of just stayed retired if he is only going to fight people he KNOWS he can beat.. come on floyd stop being a bitch bringing in new rules into a fight and give us the people what we want to see…….
I think Mayweather would beat Pacquiao, but you never know until they fight. I think they are going to fight, but this is the biggest PR move to make this fight bigger than life… Hopefully.
btw the dude Pacquiao is supposed to fight is a slugger, so if anything that fight will be entertaining.
There’s no proof Manny has or is taking any kind of substance. This all derives from Floyd’s pops making statements in the media and it got blown out of proportion. They’re trying to fuck with Pacquiao’s head. Pac’s team have agreed to blood tests and standard urine tests from the NSAC. What exactly do they expect to find within 14 days that won’t be found immediately after the fight when both fighters would be drawn blood?
Point blank, this is the one fight Floyd’s not gaining the advantages he wants, but it’s all Pacquiao’s fault. Didn’t GBP even try convincing Floyd to take the deal? The people helping promote him in the fight?
The fight will still happen, but more likely in the Fall. But if Pacquiao is now potentially fighting Joshua Clottey, why doesn’t Floyd fight the winner of Berto vs Mosley? Both win and set up for an even bigger event in the Fall? Something to think about…

Who said there’s no proof if any of y’all knew anything about boxing y’all would know there’s been no one who has climbed up 5 weight classes and maintain your speed and power. There’s always a drop off in either one or all aspect of physical ability. It happen to Del la hoya, Mosley, and most apparent Trinidad. Mayweather also lost a lot of his power climbing weight classes. How can you say Floydd is ducking anyone when he fought Hatten (who was suppose to kill him), Del La Hoya, and Corrales just to name a few. The past four fighter Manny fought all said they felt like thry were getting hit with power they never felt. Did you see Cotto face after that fight it wasn’t like he was getting hit left and right the whole fight

Floyd’s dad said something along the lines of, it’s far too difficult to move up so many weight classes as Manny has and STILL win, without losing his speed.That’s the fuel for the suspicion (as I just realized Dynasty already pointed out in the previous post, my bad).
If Floyd loses and Manny tests positive AFTER the fight, the damage will be done and Floyd’s record will be whatever and 0 with an asterisk. KO, overturned by drug test. He is so focused on his undefeated record, he won’t take that risk.
I personally don’t believe Manny is doped up. He has far too much too loose with regards to an entire country of passionate people who have instilled their hope and heart’s in him. He is like a god there (btw the dude is hella’ religious). Will run for office when this is all done, and win.

Ive lost all respect for Manny since he became a big name. He seems to think it his rules or no fight. He wanted 50-50 split and got it, he wanted 8oz gloves and got it, now he wants to decide when he does the blood tests? Fuck out of here.
