The post says the there was some irregularity in dude’s paperwork not that the UK wouldn’t let him in cause he was an ex con. Anybody that does even the least bit of traveling overseas these days knows that you don’t have to have a criminal record at all for them to deny you entry if there’s the slightest flaw in your paperwork. If he gets it right he can come back and they’ll probably grant him entry.
