I c where ur coming from, but this is my point. We can’t get mad @ white folks for using the term nigga, when we as a culture glorify the word. Basically over the past 20 yrs we made it a cool word to use, a slang if u will. Right or wrong it is what it is and we’re the reason for it. White ppl have always wanted to be down w/ us, and mimic what we do.
I’m 27 yrs old and I can tell if some1 is being disrespectful or not. @ the end of the day I feel that we as black folks need to get past this issue. U and I know that there are BIGGER problems to worry about in r communities than the word nigga/nigger. But we can’t get to the other issues bcuz we’re so taught up in a word. STICKS AND STONES PPL!!!
Don’t get me wrong, we definitely still have racism in this country, but hip hop has helped w/ that issue.
We can’t move forward if we continue to focus on the past.
