Ludacris is having a great career. 10 years in the game and still going strong. The only thing he’s missing is a classic album.
When you think about Def Jam 2000 the only ones that are still relevant are Luda and Hov.
DMX, Ja, Meth, Red, LL… all fell off (@Meth @Red not necessarily lyrically but in terms of popularity/sales/relevance).
“Ludaversal” is his next album and is tentatively scheduled to drop in the 4th quarter of this year. Im looking forward to that album more than “Battle of the Sexes”. He is smart, getting the fans attention back on him with B.O.T.S. so that he can drop a more well rounded album.
@ctg Kanye is the biggest artist on Def Jam. I would say Luda is right after him.
