Juelz Santana “Harlem Forever” (NYC)

Thanks to Drake, it seems as if every rapper is now pausing at the end of their rhymes. Corny. But for some reason, Santana is an exception to the rule when performing his verse from “Harlem Forever.” Dope.

Big Sean popularized that flow with his ‘Sup Dupa’ & ‘Supa Dupa Lemonade’ ..but he’ll prob. never get credit for it..

Lol at Big Sean “popularizing” it…Drake was using that shit waaaay before Sean and the rest of these jackers hopped on. Even Luda took a bite in his song My Chick Bad ( I fill her up….balloons!)

Oh and for the record I hate that shit….even when Drake/Wayne do it

  5. CaniBlog? says:

Why is there more people on stage than in the crowd?

  6. Everybody_Trippin says:

Everybody trippin, the author mad trippin. of course there gonna sound like his flow if they doing a verse over it, and drake did’nt popularize ANYTHING and he won’t! Niggas been pausin, nothin new.
@DARKAQUA its not like there on tv or in a stadium, they look like there in a lil joint or club. its not a spectacle of a performance so why not bring your boys on stage, show sum love.

  7. Hope4HipHop says:

    VADO MAN HUHHH

  8. Everybody_Trippin says:

  13. Interscope Employee says:

yeah that shit is definitely getting wack.

  18. Tyler says:

@LikeJordan45 ..i stand behind my ‘Big Sean’ popularizing this type of rhyme scheme..I’m not even a fan of Sean’s like that, but I know what I know…Big Sean was out waaayyy before Drake came out..he was really considered a freshman before Graduation had a release date..
..it ain’t my fault I know rap

  19. Tyler says:

..oh and im not sayin he created it..but thats def the only weapon that seems to be in his arsenal lol..jus sayin..

  20. Scully says:

I just think its crazy a 2 kids from toronto have harlem all and the whole rap world on their D-I-C-K!
    Oh Canada!

  21. i disagree withe the poster.

that is not Drake’s flow. some are saying big sean. i know literally zero of his music or style so i won’t dispute that claim.

to me that is kanye’s “pause” punchline style. like “Good Life”: “cause i’m seasoned haters give me them salty looks – Lawry’s”.

that is ALL over Graduation. if big sean is a GOOD music artist u could theorize that he writes for ‘Ye or influences him, thought. but as far as who influences mainstream culture, it’s Kanye not Big Sean who most mainstream people have never heard of STILL. no beef but i disagree that this is caused by Drake or Big Sean. i think it’s MOSTLY a shift in delivery style like naturally happens in rap. but IF i had to attribute it to ONE influence, i’d say it was Kanye not Drake or Big Sean or Wayne.

  22. 730 says:

I agree that Kanye used that type of flow before any of these dudes. It was hot when he did it, now it’s just corny.

  23. THEMAN says:

“i balls……Chemo” one of the most retatdest lines and exapmles i ever heard! got your whole city faded off the brown…. nino. uhhhhhhhh, was he tryin to say he deals? this aubrey is thee worst
