J.Cole Speaks On Fallen Roc Stars

As a label exec, Jay-Z has one helluva track record—for better or for worse. Although Jigga saw success with Rihanna and Ne-Yo during his presidency at Def Jam, not much could be said for former rap acts like Tru Life and Aztek. But don’t look for Cole to be added to the list. As the first artist on Hov’s Roc Nation, he speaks on how he plans to prevent from becoming just a memory.

  • Cole is smart. He ain’t gon’ shoot himself in the fuckin foot like otha nigaz do when they get signed and get a lil buzz. That’s why I fuck wit him.

  • J cole is smart. It’s good he didn’t get signed when he first moved to NY. He probably wouldn’t have been as prepared for the role. He’s clearly ready for anything now. Everything happens for a reason. Peace to good music shining on

J.Cole is that dude. The thing about him is he has that balance of concious, story, and hood elements in his music so people relate. I hope dude is a success & I agree…The Warm Up is straight heat. DL it…you won’t be dissapointed at all.

  • @ Word…what is there to hate on? dude is humble as fuck. hes not out there frontin like most of these dudes.

although rap radar is known for being a little TOO fond of jay-z and anything he does, but this here on jcole is all well merited and well deserved.

  • It’s true, can’t say a bad word about this guy. Deserves all the success he can get.
