Last night, Drake kicked off his Away From Home Tour at Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania. And during his set, he premiered the opening number off Thank Me Later. Produced by Crada and 40.

I couldn’t really here it to judge it but I like the idea of using fireworks for a beat & I like the piano rolls so it may be a great song, it may be trash or it may be something in between but either way he’s doin his thing.

Doesn’t sound bad but it seems like his songs and flow are predictable at dis point…So Far gone is gonna be a tough for him to top…Most mixtapes consists of songs that artist are willing to let go that aren’t good enough to make the album..I think Drake put some of his best material on So Far Gone…Songs like “Best I ever Had”..”Forever”..’Fear”..etc are gonna be hard for him to top…Still gonna cop the album J. Cole gonna have a better album……

…the problem with Drake is there’s no growth whatsoever. all his shit sounds like it did over a yr ago. all flows the same, same sounds, same mood, same everything. i feel like i keep hearing the same song everytime there’s a “new” joint out. he can take all his verses and rap them on any of the tracks he chooses — that’s a problem. shrug*
won’t be copping this shit.

drakes nice, but i do admit his flo is becoming played out. i think it has allot to do with the amount of music I’ve heard from him already, happens when you over saturate the market.

What the fuck is up with all these haters? Did any of you actually listen to the verse? The lyrics are real as fuck. Your all acting like hes soulja boy or something man. The dude is far from my favourite rapper but im pretty excited for the album. “Over” was a pretty good song but i have a feeling he has one or two hits hidden away for when its closer to the release date. I think all the hate is just jelousy or resentment.. Cause lets face it, Who wouldnt wanna be in Drakes position right now? Hes got the biggest buzz right now that i think i’ve ever seen around an up & coming rapper.
