Last year, Raekwon tried to make sense of Nas absence on Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2. Now, Esco admits he regrets not appearing on the disc and tells 1515, he wont make the same mistake twice with Rae’s Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang.
“It’s been no discussions,” Nas said about appearing on Rae’s new project. “You know how the music game is. Everybody is out there grindin’, making music. But his last album was classic. I definitely wish I was on that piece. So yeah, something in the future is definitely likely. That’ll be good.”
This nigga is the realist, aint never sell out, an he piss on jay z in my opinion, that nigga jst bought his way to success

I love Nas’ music too but to say he never sold out is revisionist history.
For the kids out there who were too young there was a time that Nas was wearing leather suits with chunky jewlery talking about mob life.
A lot of people love It Was Written now but it was panned when it came out.
[Trackmasters etc] + the aptly titled ‘Firm Fiasco’ .
One of the greatest ever, but he definitely had a ROUGH period of overt pandering in the late ’90s

A good album.
I love Nas but he did drop the ball there. A Verbal Intercourse 2 type track would have been dope & completed an already great album. All good though.
And Nas never “really” sold out…but he did have some serious fumbles…”oochie wally” & “you owe me” with Ginuwine were terrible.
Shiiit, im still mad at nas for not making one of the best albums in years… Nas really makes bad desicions sometimes..
