That boy Black Thought ….SMH…..inarguably one of the top 5 rap monikers of all time and IMO just as inarguably one of the top 10 spitters of all time. The quantity of quality is there, only the huge sales and fame are missing. IMO the first 2 far outweigh the last 2 when considering greatness.
This is the kind of shit that should be getting buzz……but we all know why it’s not….because it’s the TRUTH!!

Monsters of Folk are four of the best living song writers. It would take a hip hop ensemble as smart as the Roots to recognize the potential in sampling this. Happy when I hear the crossover of respected independents. Music is a great way to share stories with people from cultures near and fear. Folk and hip hop, its as real as lyrical music gets.
