Drake’s Walmart Soundcheck Interview

Sometime last night, Drake’s debut, Thank Me Later finally erupted onto the net. But out of good faith, we won’t post the remaining tracks. Support hip-hop June 15th, cheapskates. Anyway, as part of Walmart’s Sound Check series, Drizzy spoke on the album and revealed that “Unforgettable” was his favorite track.

  7. yaboitone says:

The “cheapskate” label for not paying for every album that comes out is so lame. Thanks to the internet NEW music is now like every other NEW PRODUCT in the world. We can preview it and make sure we want it, before we waste money on it. Yes there is a list of artists who automatically get a purchase cuz they’ve made a name for themselves. For example: I’m copin two copies of Ye’s album when it drops. Also the “leaking” of a handful of tracks is a gift and a curse. It either A: builds anticipation and increases the chances of people paying for the album, or B: increases doubt cuz all of the tracks leaked are weak. I think most people can agree that the “Thank Me Later” leaks have done the later. With that being said…..

(update after making it halfway thru):

Copin the album when it drops. (See how easy that was?) ha!

Best verse ive ever heard from nikki minaj on that “Up all night” joint. wish she rapped like that more often.

  8. KingP says:

lol @ won’t post the Remaining tracks out of good faith

  9. Thank Me Hater says:

About halfway through the album…and to be honest it’s not bad listening at all. But for real though every time someone gives their opinion on here and it aint what somebody wants to hear why it gotta be hating? If someone thinks Thank Me Later sucks that shit aint necessarily hatin!! Damn!! But in my opinion Thank Me Later is really straight so far. I just wish he would go “hard” on more tracks. He’s talkin about some personal shit though which is what I like.

  10. yaboitone says:

    …………………….nevermind. lol.
ratio of good to bad tracks doesn’t equate to the gas to go cop. guess ill look at my brother’s booklet after he buys it.

  11. James says:

  13. mac DIESEL says:

“and the south still owning you haters”

BUT THE WHITE EXECS FROM THESE WHITE CORPORATE RECORD COMPANIES THAT ARE FROM THE NORTH ARE OWNING THE SOUTH!!!! SO “OWNING” THE HATERS REALLY AIN’T MUCH HUH??? HA!!!!

    DON’T HATE ON MY OPINION!!!!

  14. t-dub says:

  20. BOSS says:

Classic songs. Classic debut right here folks. Stop hatin because he’s changing up the game. Nobody cares about your internet rage.

  21. Donn says:

I agree, everybody has their opinion, but u will Thank him later, u can’t expect to listen to an album one time and make a judgement, i played the album back a couple times today and the more i listen to it, its a classic, Reasonable Doubt wasn’t considered a classic until time passed and ppl got to sit wit it for a while

  23. Wish A Nigga Wouldn't... says:

    LMAO at Rapradar…

“won’t post the remaining tracks, out of good faith”….

Because they’re not exclusive anymore? You posted every. single. track. that came out until the whole shit leaked. Now that you know the shit is on Vuze, you cornballs got consciences?

Who do you type this shit for? B.Dot, respond to me. How could you try to pass off the remaining tracks leaking together and you not posting them because everyone got them in a package off Zshare as you guys doing an artist a favor?

“We already posted every track that came out that would drive traffic to our site, but the whole shit just leaked and you probably already have it on your iTunes, so we’re not going to post them and just pretend we’re doing Drake a favor instead”.

    Fixed.

Fuck Walmart, they don’t give a fuck about their workers. They don’t provide benefits nor do they allow the workers to organize to collectively bargain for better wages, guaranteed schedules, etc. etc.

I’m tired of these people who everyone thinks gives a fuck about the street or the PEOPLE standing as puppets for these companies that shit all over the common person. Fuck that. I like Drake, I think he’s talented, I like his music, but this type of shit bothers me.
