Who knew 40 played such a critical role, it seems like without him drake wouldnt last too much longer.
This is why I love Drake. He’s real. He cares. He cares enough not to give us bullshit and call it music. I wanna see him maintain his success, and I believe he has enough sincerety to do so. And even if he has his low point, I’ll ride for him. Thank God we have someone like him in the rap game. Maybe others will take note.

Great documentary. Too bad he couldn’t have brougt J. cole out. Probably woulda ended the fake beef that the internet created. It’s all good. It’s a recession so gotta keep the haters employed somehow.
It’s clear from watching this that Drake is a real person. And that’s the same reason that people love him and hate him. Because he doesn’t fit the typical mold. He’s a lot more humble, honest and insecure on records – traits that we don’t normally associate with hip hop. Gotta respect it though.

All I can say is T.’s diversity made Drake and 40/40 as talented as they are.

His production is better, his beats are crazy, his lyrics are actually somewhat complex, he’s not rappin about bangin or money constantly, he actually has subject matter, he can sing somewhat. Best thing that Drake did was let 40 do the majority of his music and the second best thing was to do this MTV documentary. I know that it was only a glimpse of what he has gone through but you can tell Drake has a good work ethic and has very good people around him; especially 40.
It’s kinda difficult to “Knock the Hustle”. You may dislike his music but the things he has done within a short amount of time is at least respectable.
By the way, I use to live in Atlanta and I’m surprised his management chose the Havana Club. It’s one of those small Monday spots you go to drink, smoke something, and holla at fine women. It’s definitely not ideal for a concert. Any ATLien would have told him that. The Tabernacle, which is like a House of Blues, would have been a better place to perform.
