But Drake is about as far INSIDE the box as u can possible get. Hes got a 100% mainstream-pop sound, and I swear Ive heard this song a hundred times before, he just called it something else. I think you got it wrong dude I respect your opinion because you actually have a very valid argument. I used to listen to pac everyday but that’s a whole different thing. I guess what I would say is that Drake is more of an artist than an mc, crafting lyrics with pen or blackberry or whatever, as opposed to workin it out in his brain and spitting. I dunno but to me it doesn’t really matter how someone comes up with their lyrics, more that their lyrics make sense and have some meaning. Which is why I like Drake and a lot of other lyrical dudes. Freestyling is a talent for sure, but no one can tell me Wayne’s shit before he went to jail was any good, but it was freestyled.
