The couple were arrested last night in Los Angeles after police pulled over their Maybach for making an illegal U-turn on Sunset Boulevard. They were released on $10,000 bail each this morning. According to the L.A. sheriff’s department:
“Deputies smelled a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. A narcotics investigation ensued.”
Despite having the number one movie in America, T.I. is currently on probation after serving seven months at the Arkansas Forrest City Prison for weapons possession. Tough break.
UPDATE: TMZ says that the newlyweds were allegedly caught with methamphetamines and ecstasy pills. T.I.’s lawyer tells XXL that he’s optimistic about the case.
