Gator Mane, or what he was called before he signed to Rap-A-Lot “The Gator Main”, is a legend in Dallas and has been around for over a decade. He’s one of the most lyrical cats in the South if you listen to his albums and mixtapes.
“knock off of Gucci Mane”… what, because he has “Mane” is his name? lol… The Gator Main has been around long before Coochi Mane. Y’all need to recognize.

I’m a Oak Cliff, Tx representer who’s been down with the Pimp and the Bun from the gate. I know of Gator Mane and I don’t nessarily listen to his music, I felt like he put on for the city although he could have came a little bit harder. I mean if I had the opportunity to lay something down with 2 of the most respected vets in the game I’ma give more than my best. The song was an instant classic for me. And all you miscelaneous hating ass hoes out there who’s always knocking niggas from the south and niggas from my city do your research first and get the hate out your heart.
