Following the VMAs last night, Maino’s episode on World Of Jenks made its television debut. Main says he was satisfied on how doc the showed another side of his personality. Don’t get smacked.

Am I the only person who watched this episode and thought Maino was a dumb, ignorant ass who can’t understand the difference between intellegent conversation and a challenge on his manhood? What an idiot. Why is it that everyone EXCEPT for rappers understand that what you’ve been through is not an excuse to continue to live a crappy life, but a reason to rise above it. No wonder racism persists in the US. People like Maino prove everything that old, white people think about young black people is true. I would be ashamed to be associated with Maino.

Ash that’s pure gold. I was disgusted when I saw that. Here is an opportunity to show the dedication and work it takes to become a rapper, to understand the mindeset and instead the only thing people will remember about it is wailing on some guy 1/2 your size and laughing about it later. Maino isn’t hard, he’s just a bully. When anything comes along to shake your pathetic and fragile ego you resort to violence? Didn’t you say jail taught you to think BEFORE you react? Are you sure about that, because it sure didn’t seem like it. Way to teach your son that valuable lesson, how to be a man and all. Good one.
Maino, really? Why? As an African American woman I can say that the fight was a bad look on his part, but I must say that the show was an overall success. Jenks showed a different side of Maino and that’s what matters. Everyone focused on the fight, but Jenks and Maino seemed to have made a connection during the show. I agree with Ash… using the hood as an excuse to act out the way Maino did is not acceptable. He says he wants to set an example, but how can you when you’re acting like that. I understand he’s only human and I’m not here to judge. I just hope that Maino can learn to set a better example not just for his son, but for the youth that looks up to him. A good example of someone who came from NOTHING and turned into SOMETHING would be Oprah! She’s practically a billionaire and I have yet to see her choke someone out or yell obscenities at anyone. She’s not perfect, but she’s definitely a great role model for African Americans! COME ON MAINO GET ON BOARD!

Omg watching this episode made my blood boil. Everyone here is right how can maino call himself a role model when all he did throughout the show was smoke weed wit his boys, drink and party in the club and talkin about how he does every girl out there. He is NOT a role model at all, I wud understand if he came out of jail and did the opposite of what he doing now. You guys calling Maino out are so right! We need to learn to bow down to everyone (especially good white folk who let us come on their t.v. shows so they can make some money) and let people speak to us any way they want!
